Supermercado99 Posted October 15, 2020 Share Posted October 15, 2020 Given that we've got English league databases back to 1993, and could get a half decent list of players before that from old editions of Rothmans, I'd love a mode where you can start in a past year, with the rules and teams of the day, and real players join the game universe in the same year, and with the same club they did in real life. For an example, see the Out of the Park Baseball Series - which you can play from the 1870s through to today, with players, teams, rules etc... changing as you go. Obviously this can be expanded to other countries as well based on CM/FM databases and original research. I think this would give the game a new lease of life for a lot of people.
