Would have cost him NOTHING to do that - no loss in reputation or anything like that, but - on the contrary - we would ALL have been grateful to him. Instead, they send adverts - adverts! - about the game being ready to play, etc. I understand that this is the only company in town that makes this kinda game, so they don't really think they can lose customers, etc. - but this is, in my books, very bad PR nonetheless. I waited from 3 p.m. yesterday, refreshing the page, until about 12 a.m. . I know this is - perhaps - no-one's fault but my own, etc. ... but, again, would it have hurt Miles to drop a couple of courtesy words towards us last night? We are his customers after all. Instead, Neil Brock comes in here - with a frankly insulting "it'll be ready when it's ready" - and, when probed further, he has to say: "I can't say, only the gaffer can say". Where WAS the gaffer last night? If he couldn't come personally to talk to us, why not send someone with the AUTHORITY to do so - or give Neil Brock the authority to level with us? Bad form, SI. They've always stated around 2 weeks before release. The thing with FM is they've got a loyal fan base, and we know it'll be released when it is ready to be. All this thread is basically just friendly banter. SI have nothing set in stone to say they have to, or should have to tell us when it's coming out. How do we not know that the SI office servers burnt down and there is nothing left of the game? Or maybe the devs all got corona and couldn't work on it? They probably worked late into the night and will want to verify what's happened first and why that post went out, before even responding. Eventually they will say something and like they have always said, it will go out when its ready. The good news is with that accidental post on FB and Instagram, we now know its very close. The game will be out when it is ready, who's to say they haven't encountered a game breaking glitch last night, hence why they've been working through the night to release a product that actually works today. None if us know exactly what is going on behind the scenes. Be patient and the game will be here when it's ready.
