 Brora Rangers - 2040/41

Great season from us as we finish top four and secure our best ever finish. In Conference we had rather hard group but we made it out only to be eliminated by Parma in first knock-out round. After being eliminated in Europe we could have focus only on league and we managed to win five in a row and eventually finish top four even with -11 goal difference  Paul Thomson scored 49 games for us and broke the records, I really did not expect that. We managed to renew contract with Miller and his release clause is now around 12mil. Intake was trash again, no idea why. We are bulding a new stadium with a 18k capacity. I did not do any facility upgrades as I want the stadium to be finished before that.

December 2041

Very busy schedule in December. The most important game was against Feyenoord as we needed to win to advance. And we did, thanks to James Miller who picked up a fantastic form in December. Two big losses to Motherwell & Rangers mean that we finish the year on 5th place.

Lets see what new HoYD brings.

Your HOYD has something with goalkeepers, every year their is a great prospect in intake.

Where do you rank financially in the competition? A reckon Glasgow and Celtics are miles ahead of you and will be for a long period. But you must be closing on om the rest of the lot

I’ve been following this for a while now and it’s been fascinating. Keep it going. :)

Also, that’s quite a goal haul from Thompson – how many of those 49 goals were in the Scottish Prem?

@Feddo That's even more interesting considering I had 5 different HoYDs already :D

I do not know how to check anything else but this, here we are still on the last place but slowly catching up.

@Khrayze Thank you! Although I do not have as much time now as before so the updates will be slower and smaller.

@Gundo He scored 27 goals in Premiership. Also scored 17 in Europa Conference - I remember it because he won the Golden boot.

FYI

My game crashed near the end of February so I was forced to go to the latest save and that was January before the game against Hearts. We won these two games in January that we drew before but I am not sure whether we can replicate the February results that I havent published yet before the crash.

February 2042

Our fantastic form continues! Firstly we beat Celtic in Scottish Cup to advance to quarterfinals where we will face Ross County. Against Lokomotiv we managed to sneak a win in Moscow thanks to Ross Rae and then Luke Robertson scored a hattrick in the second leg! Great set of results in league see us reach top three position.

March 2042

We managed to beat Napoli at home but on their stadium it was whole different games and they beat us quite comfortably. We had to play Ross County in two games as we just could not score against them at home and in the second leg we were missing 13 players due to international games but we managed and will face Motherwell in semifinals.

Europa League Group | Europa League KO Stage

Another great season up to the very end where we bottled all the competitions  At one point we were even third in league which would be fantastic achievement but in Championship group we played terribly and deserved to drop down. Conference it is for us for next season then. We had a tough group in EL but we managed to advance thanks to last round win and then beat Lokomotiv in 1st KO round. Napoli was too much for us but we still managed to beat them at home. In Scottish Cup we eliminated Celtic just to be beaten by Motherwell in semis. Best players are still Fox, Miller, Fyffe and Thomson. Wilson and Robertson looking good aswell. Surprised that Hamilton is still starting for us to be honest. Intake was not anything special. We did not upgrade facilities as we are building a new stadium for next season!

Good start to the new season but we only played lesser teams so far. I am glad my 1000th career game was the first one to be played on the new Brora stadium and we also got a win!

Very busy month and we came on the top, only two losses against Celtic in league and Falkirk in Betfred Cup, but we do not really care about Betfred Cup anyway.

Great to see Ireland win the World Cup, I assume all of their best players were produced by English teams?

The personalities on youth players is very annoying. I know your youth staff other than your HOYD can affect some regen PA but not sure if that would include their personalities.
