So a defender would still need positioning, anticipation, concentration. So looking at that defender, mentally he falls asleep at transitions (concentration =1), is poor at reading the game with his anticipation. However he has good positioning and decent jumping reach. What this tells me is that if I played a system with quick transitions, he could get caught out. His low bravery could be an issue and his technique is bad. So that defender, while he may know where to stand most of the time and can head the ball, well, he may not do these tasks very well. He is 16 years old. So in terms of development potential, he may be worth a risk. He is strongly one footed, which means you may need to work on his other foot too. So train him first, those attributes could go up. When they are at that age, attributes tend to spike up pretty quickly between 16-18. Decide again when he is 18 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
