Speedyol
The "currently spending" wage budget is currently applying all the bonuses and wages in all players contracts and adding them together. BUT depending on who starts matches the actuall amount of money spent can be different from this number. I would like to propose that the "current spending on wage" is calculated from expenditure on wage + bonuses, perhaps a average of the past 6 months with some weight on the last month or somethng and NOT based on the hypotetical "add all contracts together" method that is currently used. Example: you play a semi-pro team. you have NO players on wages. only apperance fee, goal bonus, unused sub bonus ect. You could potentialy have 50 players in the squd, but you only start 11 of them and maximum paying 14 players per fixture. the other players DO NOT get payed. But they are added to the "wage budget used".. At some clubs this makes it hard to have more than 18 players, depending on how many "stars" you have, and hard to manage injuries and rotation.
