bertilak
I am at linfield and my chairman says he will never leave the club he loves but i hope he does as we need some investment which he wont or cant give, so my question is can he retire and leave still loving the club or do some chairmen sell up for the good of the club? Harryseaess
He can retire or change the way he views the club, yes. If he retires does a new chairman automatically take control of the club or does the club need to be bought? What I am trying to say is will the club be without a chairman when he retires or will a new chairman take his place?

T4RG4
Is this new to FM09? I set a chairman to 99 years old (or thereabouts) in FM07 and he wouldnt flaming retire Couldnt think of any other way to get rid of Ashley without editing the initial game data...
