kandersson Posted February 19, 2021 Share Posted February 19, 2021 Love these files, thanks! if you're still taking (weird) requests, could you please do some pre-season friendlies/competitions for: 1) Canadian Premier League clubs 2) New Zealand Premier League clubs 3) Wellington Phoenix (I like to manage them and unfortunately they are ineligible for any continental competition)? Canada and NZ don't have lots of games and have very long breaks between seasons, prize money are also so low... My ideas: 1) a Wellington/Auckland Challenge with top clubs from these cities (Wellington Phoenix, Team Wellington, Auckland City, Waitakere United, Eastern Suburbs) maybe a round robin in pre-season. 2) A tournament for clubs from Australia, New Zealand, Canada, South Africa (random clubs, but one should be Wellington Phoenix). 3) A revival of OFC President's Cup (again with Wellington Phoenix instead maybe of the weird U23 national teams) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2014_OFC_President's_Cup 4) Pre-season tournaments for CPL clubs in the style of their MLS counterparts (e.g. Walt Disney Classic, Visit Tucson etc), maybe also with clubs from USA/Canada lower leagues. The tournament has 20 clubs in it including AC Milan, Arsenal FC, Atlético de Madrid, Chelsea FC, FC Barcelona, FC Internazionale Milano, Juventus FC, Liverpool FC, Manchester City, Manchester United, Real Madrid CF and Tottenham Hotspur.
