Bris Vegas
Ok fellas I need some help with this. My tactics and what not are fine, but what do I do when I'm infront by 2 clear goals? Do I keep the same mentality, or go defensive, even if I'm infront as early as the 20th minute? I ask because I've just had 2 consecutive 3-3 results followed by a 2-2, in which I was 2-0 up in each. The first was away, I was 2-0 up by the 20th minute, and decided not to change anything, as I was playing fairly well. However the opposition went really attacking and I caved in. Went defensive once I was 3-2 up but a last minte goal cost me. Next game was a home match, went 3-1 up midway 2nd half, thought I won't make the same mistake again, went Def and then conceded 2 in the last 12 minutes. What is it with this 4-2-4, who does that at 2-0 down in real life?! And again at home, 2-0 up just before half time. Again went defensive, and 2 second half goals pulled me back again. Once they scored 2, I went attacking again and nearly got a winner as the opposition went Def, but couldn't quite manage it! It's so fustrating! Any help would be appreciated... Especially for an early 2-0 lead!

barry the badger
Have you tried looking at the TT&F document and using the shut up shop strategy detailed in there? although 20mins might be too early to use it and expect to hang on.
