New Tactic

Hey guys, i have created a simple tactic, i looked at a number of others and tried some and tweaked others and looked at the TTF thread, many thanks to all you, i like many others have found it really hard to score, im liverpool btw. Torres just is not very good in this game so far, i was strugling near bottom half of the table and decided to create my own tac looking at the above mentioned, it statred as a 442 and it now looks like

I dunno how to upload tacs right now and want to give it another month or two before i put them up, my results have greatly improved, 8 matches - 6Wins on the trot, including arsnal twice, two defeats one against Utd and the other against Bayern, but i was already through and let my kids have a go,

My team is

GK - Reina/Fiorilla

RB - Rafinha/Santon

LB - Boka/Insua

CB - Carra/Agger/Beevers

DMC - Alonso/Lucas/Masch

CM - Stevie/Lucas

MR - Arshavin/Santon

ML - Babel/Reira

AtM - Baloteli/Babel/Arshavin/Baxter

ST - Torres/Baloteli/Babel

Currently sitting 8th, but 4th on form table even after tht defeat to utd, if someone can tell me how to post the tactic and even screenies i will gladly do it. i hope when i upload it, it will be off use to someone, the only real drawback is that it can be a bit susceptable (sp) to counter attacks from the bigger teams eg utd and arsenal, if anyone can help with tht when it's uploaded then thanx.

Thanx dude, will do soon, just won against bolton 2-0 away from home, gonna wait till i hit Jan - feb currently in Dec, and if results still consistent i will upload, thanks

Another good result, beat chelski 4-0, made a couple of changes and changed personel areound a little, gonna go on hols till 20th of jan and if i get good results then it will be uploaded, i know people are gonna say its easy to make a tactic for one of the big 4, but for liverpool i compleatly disagree, just like real life they are very inconsistent as evidence of fulham on the weekend.

Just curious, are anyone interested in trying this once it's uploaded?

Give me some feedback and any tips tht you think could improve it, my Playmaker is Stevie or the CM postion, i swap Stevie around so whoever plays Cm is the Playmaker, plus i have Agger as the Liberio CB.

A warning - Do Not go on hols unless your fully trust ur Ass Man, lucky i saved it before i went on hols, 4 games 3 loss 1 draw, i played them again myself and won them all, i currently have neri, but he is a crap manager lol

No offence here, if the tactic works well with Liverpool or Arsenal then well done for you - but if it works with a team like Luton or Almeria or a middle-class Premiership team for example, and if it works well with them then you have created a superb tactic.

None taken, as i said earlier i think in the FM series liverpool are very inconsistent (my Personal experience) just like in real life and just like above average prem teams, so hopefully this will work for most prem teams, i will try a smaller team now, accrington are currently 18th in league 2, i will post results come the end of the season, hopefully it helps them.

Are you gonna give it ago?

Yes, definitely. I haven't played for Liverpool for about 5 years in FM, last I remember using Liverpool is in CM 03/4, so when the new patch comes out in January I'll be looking for Liverpool tactics and I'll be sure to download this.

Just one thing, how are you using Babel? Cutting him inside or as an AMC/FC? You said you're using him as an AML but I think Babel's most effective position is FC (not ST)?

actually i was gonna sell babel, but played him as my left midfeild and was a revelation, scored like 5 games staright but was injured and on his comeback game was injured again, has not played since early Dec and now im near late Jan, he has resumed light training so when he gets full fitness he will be played on the left, but he will also be used in Attack mid and lone stiker when the occasion arises

I just started a game with Lazio and I'm using this tactic. I have Pandev in the Gerrard role. My first result was a 1-0 victory versus Brescia in the Coppa Italia. I'll update as I progess through the season.

Hope it works good, im beginning to get mixed results at the moment with liverpool, perhaps the game has got used to my tactic so i iwll look to tweak a little more,

so far accrington have played 5 - draw 4 and win 1, currently 17th, gonna give to the end of the season and see how it goes, (in Feb now)

Okay dudes, this tactic has been slightly mishit right now, i have compleatly modified it and now play a narrow diamond, was 2-0 down first half against spurs and thought this was another mishit, second half they came out blazing, made no other chages and won 6-2 and it could and should have been more.

Gonna finish the seaon with this tactic and if the results are consistent i will post version 2 of my first. i hope the first one does good for yous as it did for me at the start.

version 1.1 is not so gd, it is brill for scoring goals, something like 19 in 8 but is letting in loads as well, think it's 10 in the same space of time, although i only lost one game during the 8, it was a little hairy when your 5-4 up with 10 mins left because they are all out attack and u have already let in 4.

It is slightly different from my first one, it's a tight 4-4-2 diamond, the playmaker (AMF) seems to be the vocal point (Gerard scored loads and set up loads while here)
