deez0r
International Call-Up's This is nice to see! We have 7 players called up to various Northern Ireland squads, 4 of which are in the senior squad!
deez0r
Cups Galore The great thing about doing a youth only in Northern Ireland is that you are forced to play them due to the sheer amount of games and cups there is! Below is the list of cups we have taken part in so far and we are only in November: Champions League Qualifiers & Group Stage - 14 Games SPFL Trust Trophy - 2 Games Bet McLean Cup - 3 Games County Antrim Shield - 3 Games Irish Champions Cup - 2 Games That is a total of 24 cup games by end of November! So our youth have definitely got a lot of game time!
CornishGas
Normally I'm put off a save where the team punches ridiculously far above their weight in the first season but this is oddly compelling... I've never tried Norn Iron, but there seems to be more cup games than league games almost haha, crazy. I'm guessing the Champions Cup is the one actually worth winning and the rest are cardboard cups covered in tinfoil? Also the save should now be called "you'll never Lin anything with kids", obvs Edited December 8, 2020 by CornishGas

Yeah its crazy the amount of cup games. They seem to be adding some every year! I live here and have never even heard of the SPFL Trust Trophy! That is a great name! deez0r
Youth Intake Preview Meh its not the positions we needed covering. We could have done with a winger and striker. Lets see what comes through!
deez0r
Euro Cup 1st Knockout Stage This is not a bad draw for us. They will still be heavy favourites but if we can pull off an Atletico performance we may have a chance!
deez0r
Mid-Season Review Results As expected we are dominant in the league. We have been rotating quite a bit so its nice to see our backup players and youth players can do a job as well! League Table This is pretty much sewn up by Christmas. I will continue to give the younger players game time where I can whilst keeping the lead up! Champions League An amazing run in the CL for us as we reached the group stages before beating Atletico twice to enable us to get into the Euro Cup knockout stages! SPFL Trust Trophy We have beaten some fairly solid Scottish teams in this trophy with again fairly rotated squads which is a good sign. We have Dundee in the semi finals! Bet McLean Cup Our only disappointment. We were playing a massive amount of games so it was a completely backup team and the Glens came and stole a 1-0 win at Windsor and bragging rights! County Antrim Shield Consistency here. 3-0 followed by 3-0 followed by 3-0! Marcal has been fantastic for us this season coming in when our 2 main strikers have needed a rest! We have Cliftonville in the final! Irish Champions Cup This puts the winner of the Northern Irish League vs the winner of the Irish League. We had it pretty much won after the 1st leg. We went down to Shamrock and won the 2nd leg as well to become Champions of Ireland! Player Review - Adrian Scott This is our best centre back and at only 17 is one of the best players at the club. He has also won his first cap with Northern Ireland!
deez0r
Youth Review Just going to do a brief review of the current players who have come through our youth academy who are 18 or under. Campbell (YP22H) has played 8 games this season so far for us in the holding midfield role. He has yet to score for us but has 2 assists and an average rating of 6.67. Not a high potential player but we need squad players for the team going forward especially if the intakes have the potential to be poor! Nimick (YP22E has 8 clean sheets in 14 games this season as well as a very impressive 4 assists! He is a solid backup at this level to us! A very solid average rating of 7.25! Doyle (YP22C) is our 4th choice striker and we have been giving him game time to aid his development. He is the least developed of all our youth players in the first team but its an area we are short in. He has 1 goal and 1 assist in 12 games for us and an average rating of 6.79! Downey (YP22B) has played 19 games for us this season at left back and has 3 assists. An average rating of 6.81 is decent if nothing to shout home about. Lets hope he continues to develop into a solid player for us. Hamilton (YP22A) like Downey above has played a lot of games at full back albeit on the right hand side. He has 1 assist in 17 games so far and an average rating of 6.78. He is also capped at u19 level. Williams (YP22F) isn't really of any great quality but its an area we are incredibly short in. In 17 games he has 1 goal and 4 assists and an average rating of 6.89. Moore was here before my arrival and actually came from Portadown originally. He has played 18 times this season and has 4 goals and 6 assists from the attacking midfield role. Really like those mental stats. Scott is one of our best players at the club. He came from Institute before I arrived (thank God he did or we would be struggling big time!) A fully capped international now. He has played 30 times this season and has 2 goals and a fantastic average rating of 7.28!
deez0r
Euro Cup 1st Knockout Stage Completely forgot this was a one leg affair. It was a fantastic game with a lot of chances but it came down to the lottery of a shootout which we managed to hold our nerves and win! Fantastic! Draw Well this would be a very interesting tie with a lot of riots!
deez0r
Euro Cup 2nd Knockout Stage Our fairytale run is over. Joao Pedro singlehandedly knocks us out. We gave it a good fight but their quality told in the end!
deez0r
Headhunted After our great run it was tough to leave but I feel back across the water the finances and the better facilities will help me in my quest to win big trophies! They are struggling but lets hope we can change that around!
deez0r
Linfield - The End We left Linfield a couple of game before confirming the title which is a bit annoying but I felt the offer is a very good one for us! We had also won the County Antrim shield! We had 2 additional finals coming up but hopefully they can win them themselves! I have left them in very good financial state and hope they can kick on!
abulezz
Sheffield Wednesday are a lucky club - hopefully their youth setup will be relatively good.
deez0r
Sheffield Wednesday - Overview Finances Struggling financially and over the wage budget. In the reserves alone we will be trimming nearly 40k per week off the wage budget at end of season getting rid of a bunch of pensioners! Youth Intake Preview Lets hope this striker is useful! League Table By no means are we clear of this relegation battle. We need to knuckle down and get a few wins or we could be in trouble! Big Prospect This is our big prospect at the club. He is a natural centre midfielder but I will be utilising him at left back as thats where I believe he could be most effective!

deez0r
Youth Intake 2023 As expected not a great intake although no idea where this full back came from! Oh Nana what's your name? I signed those I have tagged. Some of those with not much potential I signed due to small amounts of numbers in those positions! YP23A - Nana Muntari Not bad and has good potential. Really like his mentals and he has solid defending and marking already. Will probably train as right back as our other big prospect is a left back! YP23B - Charlie Lovegrove Nothing spectacular but it is a position we are incredibly short on so I am going to call him up straight away. Good finishing and decent pace is always a good combo to have! YP23C - Ryan Hammond I think he looks solid. If we can work on his finishing we have a decent ball playing deep lying striker! YP23D - Joe Stanton Another position we are short in. Has the potential to be a squad player in the future YP23E - Alan Simmons The 3rd striker I have signed just to help the numbers. We currently have 4 strikers in the first team 2 of which are loanees and out best strikers. So we could struggle! YP23F - Paul Rhodes-Stones Simply signed to be an emergency backup goalkeeper!

deez0r
End Of Season Results 7 wins from 9 games is fantastic. One defeat at Forest and a mad draw at home to Portsmouth. Lovegrove (YP23B) scored 5 goals in 6 games after he was moved into the first team! 28 goals in those 9 games is a great return! We lose 4 or 5 loan players next season so the squad depth wont be as good but we do have a good base at the back with a solid goalkeeper and defence. Hopefully Lovegrove and co can keep it going up top! League Table We finished a massive 16pts clear of the relegation zone Player Review - Matt Penney Penney is rated as the best player at the club and is wanted by a few mid table La Liga sides currently. If we continue to plunge into more debt I may be forced to sell him. Other News 2 good things for our youth. Without me asking they increased us up to Level 2 in the youth category and I had to fight to get the Youth Recruitment increased! They turned down junior coaching! Our biggest issue currently is the finances, you can see how they have deteriorated since I have joined. I am getting a fair whack of the wage budget which should help but in the long term if we cannot get facility improvements we may have issues! deez0r
££££ Just as posted the above the chairman injected money into the club and we received our Championship payments of just over £4m! Which meant... The finances look good again. Lets try and take advantage! They turned down youth facilities unfortunately but did get them to agree to training facilities! deez0r
Transfers We have had a few players leave over the summer for money. Odubajo and Ginnelly left early in the summer heading for Wigan and Ross County. Shaw is off to Ipswich before Banian left on a free transfer to Oldham which cleared up another 10k per week off the wages! We got another 200k or so for Hughes and Carney We also released 3 additional players who were making quite a bit of money! From being over the wage budget when I joined we are now nearly 150k per week under it!

deez0r
New Job Wolves are struggling in the Premier League down in 19th place. Our first game is against West Brom. A must win! Finances Struggling financially. Lets hope I can turn that around and sell a couple of fringe players! Youth Facilities Hopefully we can get a couple of prospects through here! Facilities Excellent Training Facilities Superb Youth Facilities Good Academy Coaching Excellent Youth Recruitment Prospects Below are the prospects in the first team who are 21 or below Maynard is a very solid prospect who I will probably utilise at right back more than midfield as I think his stats suit that better! Quiroz is a really solid centre back prospect who will definitely get game time right now. 5 star potential also! Sarmiento is a pacy winger who will probably start on the left hand side currently. Really solid stats on Campbell who I will try and get minutes to. Conceicao is another very solid winger. We have 2 very good young wingers at the club who can really take us places! Another very sold full back in Matheson who has fantastic pace and solid mentals. Will also get game time! Not as developed as the others but great pace. Will try and get him a loan move in January! One of the best players at the club Silva will be our main striker this season!
deez0r
Where did I leave Sheffield Wednesday? 13pts clear! Lets hope they dont fall apart like Spennymoor did! (Who have since been relegated back to National League North)
CornishGas
Didn't seem like you were at the Owls for ten minutes before leaving haha. I hope to stay here for a while and would probably only move on again for a really top tier club!

deez0r
Great Start Well save to say we have been on fine form since I joined. In saying that I did join after Wolves had just played Arsenal, Leicester, Man City, Chelsea, Man Utd and Liverpool in the 6 games prior to me joining! So the fixture list has been fairly kind but we are scoring goals for fun!
CornishGas
Glad you managed to win 6 in a row, because I don't think those finances could take a relegation haha. Gotta love a chairman who lets you spend more money than you're in debt by. Definitely agree that Maynard, at 5'5 with 8 strength, is much more suited to being a wide player than a BWM! Hilarious that one of his best stats is heading; when does he get chance to practice that? ;p

deez0r
Youth Intake 2024 Well I suppose any time at this level if you get a player who can become a part of your first team you cant complain! Slightly disappointing intake with only 3 players signed. YP24A - Liam Doyle Our big prospect from this intake. Has really solid stats already and will become our 4th choice striker in the first team! YP24B - Ben Brown Will remain with the u23's with a view to loan him our next season if possible! If we can work on that finishing then we could have a squad player in the future! YP24C - Pete Godden Our last signing, really good metals so far and some decent technicals. Could develop into a first team player in the future!
deez0r
FA Cup Semi Final One of the kindest semi final draws you could hope for. deez0r
End Of Season Results We had an amazing run, fixtures where kind when I first joined which meant we got some really good momentum. A couple of defeats but other than that we powered up the table and.... League Table Ended up finishing in the European spots. Our team is actually very good and outside of the normal big 4 I would say we have the next best team in terms of quality and depth. FA Cup We win the FA Cup after thumping Spurs in the final. Morellos picking up a hat trick! Finances The finances are well and truly sorted now, now we can now concentrate on the facility upgrades as well as potentially expanding the stadium. Biggest Prospect Doyle (YP24A) was called up to be our 4th choice striker and played in 5 games in total before end of the season scoring once. Other News We get a stadium expansion albeit a fairly small increase for a ridiculous amount of money. Getting expanded by about 3000 people and costing nearly £20m!
deez0r
Actual Expansion This is more like it. Up to 46000! Definitely help us in the long run!
