kbos80
Hi, I've started an MLS save and I understand that TAM is used to buy down an additional DP to a senior contract. But does anybody know how to use targeted allocation money (TAM) in MLS? I searched for and read posts here and on other forums. The suggestions are: 1. you get the option to use when you attempt to sign an extra DP 2. it gets use automatically when you sign But neither of these options have worked for me. When I try to sign a new DP, the signing gets blocked because I already have 2 DPs and 1 young DP. I don't get the option to use my TAM and it does get subtracted automatically. And yes, I have watched the videos by Uncle Sam, but his reference is brief and he suggests method 1 as above. But as noted, I don't get the option, even though I have $2.7m in TAM. Any advice much appreciated!
tobybilton1
From my experience it doesn't really work in the game so I stick to worrying more about trading GAM and draft picks. Haven't started a MLS save this year but hoping there's some improvements...
