mark wilson27
July 13th: My first day in charge of the Italian giants. We had our first friendly of the pre season as my side faced an away tie with Adiyamanspor. I asked the assistant manager to pick the team as I hadn't had the chance to see what my players are like in training. The first game didn't go to plan as we ended up losing 2-1 with Del Piero netting our only goal. The opposition fired in two late goals one of which being a penalty after Boumsong fouled in the area. July 14th: I finally had the chance to meet my coaches and I asked them for what they thought of the players. After the meeting I went to meet my players and see what they were like on the training pitch.

mark wilson27
July 15th: Our second friendly and yet again I asked my assistant to pick the team and in truth it was a pretty dire game as we didn't get out of first gear and we ended up drawing 0-0 in a poor game for the fans to view. July 18th; I decided to pick my first team for the friendly against Maisaspor an my team responded well to my team talk and we ran away with a 2-0 win with Del Piero netting twice in the first half. In truth we should of really won by alot more than what we did July 20th: We faced another friendly against Malatyaspor and we ran away with game as we cruised to a dominant 3-0 victory, with Nedved, laquinta and Nocerino firing a goal a piece in. July 26th: Injury news has seen midfielder Tiago out for around a month after straining his back in the weights room July 28th; We now faced a home friendly with Liverpool and we walked away with a 1-0 victory but such was our dominance we should of fired a cricket score past the Scousers. Nedved fired the only goal of the game in on the 15th minute. July 31st: The Serie A title odds have been released by SKYBET.COM and we have been quoted at 40-1. The favourites are Inter and AC.Milan at odds of 7-
mark wilson27
August 6th: Injury news sees Zanetti out for around a month after tearing his ankle ligaments in training. August 8th: We now face our final friendly as we face AC.Milan reserves and we showed our class as we walked away 4-0 victors with Boumsong, Del Piero, Camoranesi and Palladino all firing in. August 10th: I have confirmed that Del Piero and Buffon will be named as our Captain and Vice-Captain respectively. August 14th: I've made my first signing of the season as we welcome 23 year old Brazilian striker Vagner Love joining us from CSKA Moscow for a fee of £7,000,000, We also had to add a 20% sell on clause in the deal. August 18th: FC Bayern have bidded £7,000,000 for Camoranesi and I have decided to accept the bid as the player hasn't long his contract and doesn't really feature in my plans. Other news has seen us pitted at home against Brescia in the Italian Cup 3rd Qualifying Round. August 21st; Camoranesi has joined FC Bayern for £7,000,000. August 24th; More injury news sees Boumsong out of action for around a fortnight with a strained wrist.

mark wilson27
August 26th: Juventus v Udinese; Serie A My first competitive game of my Juventus career and we faced a potentially difficult game against Udinese. We started the better as Del Piero was running the show and on the 12th minute we opened the scoring as new signing Love headed in from a great cross by the Juventus captain. My team were playing brilliantly and on the 22nd minute we went further into the lead as Trezeguet ran clear of the Udinese defence to fire easily past the keeper. We were all over them and just after the half hour we added goal number three with Del Piero doing the honours from all of 25 yards. It was far too easy and six minutes later goal number four went flying in after Trezeguet did the honours from the edge of the area. At the interval I told my players to carry on with how they were playing. The second half was much the same as we controlled it from start to finish but despite our complete dominance we failed to add to our tally. Juventus 4 Love 12, Trezeguet 22, 38, Del Piero 32 Udinese
mark wilson27
August 29th: Juventus v Brescia; Italian Cup 3rd Qualifying Round We seemed to struggle at the start of this game as we just couldn't get going and on the 11th minute we came close to going a goal down as Serie B side Brescia fired towards goal but luckily for us Buffon managed to block the shot well. Ten minutes later Buffon was called upon again to save the day. We were being outplayed by Bresica and just before the break we had Buffon to thank again for rescuing the defence after some poor play. The second half started much the same as the first as Brescia played brilliantly and on the 64th minute they went a goal up but had it harshly ruled out for a foul on Andrade. On the 72nd minute the first goal was scored with Brescia's Serpelloni diverting past his own keeper to give us an undeserved lead. Two minutes later we doubled the lead as Nocerino firing in. Three minutes later we added goal number three with Almiron doing the honours but the goal was his last action after he had to replaced with a leg injury. On the 81st minute we managed to score again as Legrottaglie firing past the Brescia keeper to make it a very flattering 4-0. Juventus 4 Serpelloni og 72, Nocerino 74, Almiron 77, Legrottaglie 81 Brescia 0 injury News: Almiron will be out for four months after Tearing his calf muscle We will be facing Empoli in the Italian Cup 1st Round

mark wilson27
Just the start we needed, but its a long season ahead so we'll have to see how it goes. At least my players aren't in Europe this season so hopefully that will be an advantage

mark wilson27
September 1st; Genoa v Juventus My players started the better as we passed the ball alot better than the home team. On the 7th minute we had the first chance of the game as Del Piero ran clear of the defence but his subtle chip went just over the crossbar. Three minutes later we had the next chance as Trezeguet had his chance to score but he fluffed his shot when it was easier to score. Genoa looked out of the game as we dominated with ease. On the 23rd minute we finally got the goal we deserved as Trezeguet fired past the Genoa keeper after a great ball over the top by Nocerino. We continued to press home our advantage but we failed to score before the half time interval. The second half was much the same as we controlled throughout. Just before the hour we had our first chance of he half with Love rifling past the keeper but the ball rattled the upright. I was getting frustrated with the failings of my team in front of goal and we were punished as on the 75th minute we conceded the equaliser with Figueroa. My players continued to press forward and we just couldn't get the winning goal and had to settle for a point. Genoa 1 Figueroa 75 Juventus 1 Trezeguet 23 I wasn't best happy with my players performance but luckily for them they would escape the extra training as they had around a fortnight away with there National teams. September 11th: Transfer news sees us landing the signature of Michael Owen for £10,000,000 from Newcastle. He will be joining us on January 2nd 2008. Other news sees Michael Mancienne joining us on July 1st 2008 for a fee of £2,100,000, finally Barcelona C player Thiago will be joining us on July 1st 2009 (due to Spanish transfer rules) for a fee of £3,100,
