Is it harder to streak when you’re top of the league now?

First season at Arsenal, led the league, went into bad form and dropped a lot of points. Liverpool then went on a streak, but they then had bad form towards the end and I beat them to the title on the last day.

Second season seems to be the same, now with Man Utd in the mix. If I win the next game, I’m third and 3 points away from Liverpool, after being 9 points off before.

I also tend to lose/draw a lot when I’m top compared to when I’m chasing. Is this everyone’s experience or just me?

This is in comparison to FM20, where if someone streaks they’ll just win like 20 in a row and win the league with 100 points.
