Rockahh Posted December 3, 2020 Share Posted December 3, 2020 A big problem in this year's game is that passive offsides are ruled as offsides and the goals are disallowed. I attached a video of my latest experience with that (happened to me many times before though). My player #10 who scored is clearly onside, but because of player #9, who was in passive offside and had absolutely no impact on this goal, the goal was disallowed by VAR. It's quite annoying. This usually happens when an offside player is close to the shot trajectory but not interfering with the play. Here's another example. You could maybe argue that he is in the line of sight for the goalkeeper in this specific case, but there are other cases where that is not the case (for example a player at the far post) and I don't think I've seen a goal being disqualified for this IRL.
