gonzález
Why is it that with six months to go on their contract, some players can't be signed? In previous games every player could leave on a Bosman, but it's Jan 1st and I checked the search for whose contract runs out on 30th June, and couldn't find a single player who I could click 'Approach to sign' on. Why is this?
Socdk
Are you trying to sign from players in the same league? I don't know how it goes for the rest of the world, but as far as I know english clubs can't sign players pre their contract expires before 1 month before the initial deal runs out. Wow... Did that sound messy? Meh can't be bothered to rewrite it... You get what I'm saying right?
homerjnick
In the UK it is not 6 months that you can sign bosmans from, ie if they are in an English League then you must offer a contract 3 months before it expires.
roloffc
What Socdk is trying to say is that in the Football League you can only sign players on pre contract agreements 1 month before their deal expires - not the 6 months that it is in most other countries.
