Strikers who are good in the air not winning headers

Anyone else seeing strikers who have excellent attributes for aerial challenges just not winning headers? Haaland currently at 11% HWN over 20 Premier League games. For comparison, Adam Idah, who has worse aerial attributes in every category is at 20% HWN (also low). Also went into the PL stats section and Tammy Abraham is the only player in the top 20 for headers won who isn't a center back (HWN 34%).

This seems to imply that central defenders are massively favored to win headers on the back end? I get that the defenders are often favored in heading situations, and are often taller than the attacking players, but consistently seeing strikers who on paper should be pretty decent aerially going forward never win more than one header a game is very strange.

Yes, absolutely. In my save Luuk de Jong has a 18% HWN (17 Heading, 16 Jump, 15 Balance, 14 Strenght). In real life he has more than 50% HWN.

Other users had raised it as a possible bug in the bug forum, but there is no answer from SI:

Any real match data available so we can compare the behavior? 

usually also the crosses have a big impact on if the striker will be able to hit the ball or not

Problem with that is so much of the analytics is broken right now, you can't trust the match data either.
