Adamtsmith17
Morning, I'm not sure if this has already been highlighted but it's affected my save from day 1. Players natural position is highlighted bright green as normal but this isn't circled as normal. It also seems when scouting new players it doesn't scout what should be their most natural position. Example Joe Willock - When I select this player his most natural position isn't highlighted, instead this is showing AML. Is this a known bug ?
Sriram27
I am having the same problem. The Ass man keeps highlighting the wrong position and also screws up when I am sorting the players in the squad view.
TheJofSpades
Bumping because it's the same for me and it's annoying
Tyburn
I could be wrong, but is it not just highlighting the role he is currently being trained in?
John Wood
Hi @Adamtsmith17 this is an issue that we know about and is under review. The highlighted position isn't necessarily the players most natural but it is the one the player is most suited to get the maximum out of their attributes. It means you have a choice to make as a manager, you can keep the player in the place the feel most comfortable (natural) or you could maximise their potential and train them in a different position. Examples of this in real life would be Ashley Cole who started as a centre forward before finding his best position was at left back or conversely Gareth Bale who started at left back and found his best position as an inside forward from the right or shadow striker. Scott McTominay isn't a natural centre back but he has all the attributes to succeed there and may well be better in that position in future.
Tyburn
Ah. Thanks for clarifying. That’s really interesting to know.

If that's the case, what is the issue that's under review ? Is this particular feature not working as it should ?
