Tactics screen - columns automatically resize to a stupid size everytime I press continue

Not sure if this has been brought up before but it wasn't fixed by the patch.

I have my columns like this:

 

 

But every time i press continue they change to this and it is incredibly frustrating as I have to resize them every single time:
