koikingu Posted December 26, 2020 Share Posted December 26, 2020 A lot of the time when you report a bug, you get asked for a save from before it occurred. Generally, by the time this request comes, you will have probably played on enough that your autosaves from the time are gone. Unless you take the time to drop a save, go back to the last autosave, rename it, then return to your current save, which is timing consuming and annoying, then you won't have one to upload. I suggest that on the saving screen, there be a button called "Save last autosave for bug report." When you click it, you get the option to rename your last autosave something like "Save before occurrence of XXXX bug.fm." This renames and persists that autosave in case it is asked for in a bug report, but keeps you playing along with your current main save. I think having this feature would make it easier to report bugs, and increase the odds of the devs getting a usable save file to troubleshoot with. 1 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
