endlessthunder
in fm2021, the editor database loading mechanism has changed, which reflects in the prolonged loading time upon launching of the game and creating a new save. Before, the game will only load whats in the editor folder when creating a new game after selecting the database. Is there a way to change this? Loading save file time also became extremly long as well Edited December 28, 2020 by endlessthunder
Wolf_pd
Strange, I have logged a bug in FM20 and while discussing that one with SI, SI confirmed that all editor files are loaded at the launch of the game. So that's different from what you say.

Quote Before, the game will only load whats in the editor folder when creating a new game after selecting the database Then I apparently misread what you said about versions before FM21,. Anyway, to answer your question. There is no different way to load files in the games. Save game loading times are also not dependent on files in the editor database. One advice you could try is to remove all files you are not using in your game when starting the game and when starting a new game, so the game doesn't need to load unnessary files.
