emersonjr
I don't know how it goes around teams around the world, but here in Brazil there are lots of good teams that dropped totally in national leagues due to corruption problems on their direction. A few even became teams without a league to play. I think it would be good to simulate and create mechanisms to deal with it in FM somehow. Has anybody thought about it at some point? freddieos
I doubt you can do that with real clubs - even if it's just a game and everyone understands that. Imagine if Botafogo or Palmeiras were relegated due to corruption in the game; 1) Their fans wouldn't be happy and 2) The Directors and the PR department wouldn't put Football Manager on their Christmas card list. Not sure but could be some legal issues as well. Edited January 17, 2021 by freddieos
FrazT
There are sufficient legal risks in doing this with real teams and players, that SI have consistently said that it will not be included in the game.
