His side are sat in second place with 4pts out of a possible six. His side will be facing Sudan, Niger and Salkster2102's Burkina Faso Bagpuss (Egypt) Al-Firaeina (The Paraohs) Bagpuss's side are top of group D with 6pts out of six and face and pretty easy group with Cape Verde, Lesotho and Madagascar BenArsenal (Senegal) Les Lions de la Teranga (The Lions of Teranga) BenArsenal's side are currently top of Grp A in the African Cup of Nations qualifying along side DR Congo, Togo and Zimbabwe who are managed by CFuller. His side has played twice already and won both games Celtic_1967 (Algeria) El Khadra (The Greens) The original winner of this series has been handed the reigns of the Algerian side. His side are sat top of table after winning and drawing the first two games of the competition. The other sides in the group are Rwanda, Sierra Leone and Neilhoskins South Africa CFuller (Zimbabwe) The Warriors CFuller's side are currently bottom of Group A in the ACN qualifying having lost both of their opening fixtures, hopefully he can turn things round for his side. The next friendly saw his side beating Botswana 4-0 thanks to a goal from E.Skhiri and a hat-trick from I.Jebali Bagpuss (Egypt) Bagpuss's career started with a 3-0 win over Rwanda with M.Elneny grabbing the first goal and this was followed by a brace from R.Sobhi. The next game saw his side beating Tanzania 3-0 with M.Elneny grabbing a hat-trick. BenArsenal (Senegal) No Matches Celtic_1967 (Algeria) Celtic_1967's first game in charge was a 1-1 friendly draw against Eq.Guinea with I.Bennacer doing the honours for his side. This was followed by a 2-1 win over EvilDave's Angola as Y.Brahimi and I.Bennacer scored the all important goals CFuller (Zimbabwe) CFuller's side started with an entertaining 3-2 win over Mauritius with T.Dzvukamanja, T.Kadewere and M.Bonne all scoring for his side. Cameroon 4-0 Mozambique January 9th: Ivory Coast (mark wilson27) v South Africa (Neilhoskins77) The battle of the Mods sees Ivory Coast grabbing the victory thanks to a goal a piece from S.Fofana and C.Kouame. The other two goals came from J.Boga. South Africa's goal came from L.Foster. Wilson has the bragging rights for now Ivory Coast 4-1 South Africa Guinea (WLKRAS) v Angola (EvilDave) Guinea won this battle with the action all happening in the second half. D.Toure and S.Soumah grabbed Guinea's goal, whilst Yano scored the only goal for Angola Guinea 2-1 Angola Senegal (BenArsenal) v Burkina Faso (Salkster2102) Senegal beat Faso 2-1 thanks to a brace from M.Niang, Burkina Faso's goal came from K.Mofosse Senegal 2-1 Burkina Faso January 10th: Mali (Sherm) v Zambia A dire game for the fans with little in the way of action. Luckily for our own Sherm his side managed to beat them 1-0 thanks to a late goal from A.Haidara Mali 1-0 Zambia The Gambia v Nigeria (Gavrenwick) An easy game for Gavrenwick's Nigeria as they battered The Gambia 4-0 thanks to a goal from V.Osimhen and a hat-trick from K.Iheanacho. In truth the scoreline should have been a lot bigger The Gambia 0-4 Nigeria Congo v Algeria (Celtic_1967) An easy game for Celtic's side as they beat Congo 3-0 thanks to a brace from R.Boudebouz and a single goal from I.Bennacer. Like Gavrenwick's side the scoreline should have been a lot more Congo 0-3 Algeria January 11th: Morocco (Drogba11CFC) v Uganda An easy game for Drogba's side as they dominated and they won with ease 3-0. However it was South Africa who grabbed the winner as T.Zwane fired in for a 1-0 win South Africa 1-0 Cameroon Angola (EvilDave) v Senegal (BenArsenal) An entertaining game saw both sides piling on the pressure and it ended with a 2-2 draw. Angola's goals were scored by M.Nzola and a penalty by C.Mata. Senegal's goals were scored by I.Gueye and M.Niang Angola 2-2 Senegal January 14th: Burkina Faso (salkster2102) v Guinea (WLKRAS) An entertaining game for the fans as they played a 3-2 win to WLKRAS's Guinea. The goals for Guinea were scored by M.Camara, D.Toure and S.Kaba Burkina Faso 2-3 Guinea Nigeria (Gavrenwick) v Mali (Sherm) Another entertaining game played out with a 2-2 draw. Mali's goals were scored by K.Coulibaly and M.Djenepo Nigeria 2-2 Mali January 15th: Algeria (Celtic_1967) v DR Congo Not the result Algeria wanted as they lost 3-2 against DR Congo. Algeria's goals were scored by O.Darfalou and Y.Brahimi. His sides cause wasn't helped by A.Mandi being sent off in the 3rd minute. Algeria 2-3 DR Congo January 16th: Tunisia (Affo) v Morocco (Drogba11CFC) Affo's and Drogba's side battled out a dire 1-1 draw with A.Hakimi grabbing the goal for Morocco. Tunisia's goal was scored by W.Khazri, however Tunisia were reduced to ten men after the half hour. Tunisia 1-1 Morocco Benin v Ghana (Mandy42) Mandy's side made hard work of the 2-1 win over ten men Benin. J.Ayew and A.Ayew scored both goals for the Ghana side. Benin were reduced to ten men after S.Sessegnon was sent off in the 4th minute Benin 1-2 Ghana Egypt (Bagpuss) v Gabon A dire game for the fans that came to watch to game but luckily for Egypt S.Morsy grabbed the winning goal in the 67th minute. Cameroon's goals were both scored by I.Ganago. Ivory Coast's goals were scored by C.Kouame and F.Kessie Ivory Coast 2-2 Cameroon South Africa (Neilhoskins) v Mozambique Neilhoskins side controlled the game and beat the Mozambique side 2-1 with T.Lorch and L.Mothiba grabbing the goals South Africa 2-1 Mozambique Group A finished with markwilson27's Ivory Coast top followed by Neilhoskins South Africa second, third was Dalbeider's Cameroon third and Mozambique fourth. The top three teams have qualified for the next stage January 18th: Group B last group game Angola (EvilDave) v Burkina Faso (Salkster2102) A very open game saw EvilDave's side beating salkster2102's Burkina Faso 2-1 with Angola's goals coming from a brace by Mateus. The Faso goal was scored by B.Dabo. Angola 2-1 Burkina Faso Guinea (WLKRAS) v Senegal (BenArsenal) Senegal dominated the game as they beat Guinea 3-0 thanks to C.Kouyate and a brace from M.Niang. To make it worse Guinea had a player advantage from the 19th minute..Oh dear WLKRAS your side were poor Guinea 0-3 Senegal Group B finished with BenArsenal's Senegal top of the table followed by WLKRAS's Guinea. mark wilson27 Posted March 7, 2021 Author Share Posted March 7, 2021 January 19th: Group C and D last group game Mali (Sherm) v The Gambia Sherm's side controlled the game as they beat The Gambia 3-1 thanks to goals from S.Koita, Y.Bissouma and K.Kouyate Mali 3-1 The Gambia Zambia v Nigeria (Gavrenwick) An entertaining game saw Gavrenwick's Nigeria beating Zambia 3-2 thanks to a brace from K.Iheanacho and a single goal from V.Osimhen Zambia 2-3 Nigeria Group C finished with Gavrenwick's Nigeria top of the table and Sherm's Mali finishing second. The Gambia and Zambia finished third and fourth Both Gavrenwick's and Sherm's side qualify for the next stage Algeria (Celtic_1967) v Cape Verde Celtic's side made light work of Cape Verde as they beat them 2-0 with A.Delort and H.Beokebla Algeria 2-0 Cape Verde Group D finished with DR Congo finishing top, Celtic_1967's side finishing second. mark wilson27 Posted March 9, 2021 Author Share Posted March 9, 2021 January 20th: Group E and F last group game Morocco (Drogba11CFC) v Kenya Drogba's side dominated the game and walked away 3-0 winners with goals from R.Alioui, H.Ziyech and Y.Belhanda Morocco 3-0 Kenya Uganda v Tunisia (Affo) Tunisia controlled the first half of the game with W.Khazri grabbing a brace, however the second half was a disaster with Uganda scoring three goals to secure a 3-2 win Uganda 3-2 Tunisia Drogba11CFC's Morocco finished top of the group with Uganda second, third place went to Affo's Tunisia and fourth was Kenya. The top three qualified Benin v Egypt (Bagpuss) Egypt played the better football and walked away 2-1 winners despite going a goal down. Egypt's goals came from S.Mohsen and M.Mohamed Benin 1-2 Egypt Gabon v Ghana (Mandy42) Mandy's side were all over the Gabon side and beat them 2-1 thanks to two goals from S.Tetteh. Gabon scored a late goal but it wasn't good enough Gabon 1-2 Ghana Mandy's Ghana topped the group with Bagpuss's Egypt finishing second. Benin finished bottom of the group. South Africa's early goal came from T.Zwane. Mali's goals came from K.Coulibaly and the extra time winner from S.Koita South Africa 1-2 Mali (aet) Senegal (BenArsenal) v Cameroon (Dalbeider) Another game that went to extra time with some real end to end football. However it was Senegal that won it with S.Mane, I.Sarr and H.Diallo all scoring. The final two goals coming in extra time. Cameroon's goals came from I.Ganago. Credit must go to Cameroon who played the game with ten men from the 13th minute after C.Fai was sent off Senegal 3-2 Cameroon (aet) DR Congo v Tunisia (Affo) An easy game for Affo's side as they beat DR Congo 3-0 thanks to goals from W.Khazri, F.Sassi and T.Khenissi DR Congo 0-3 Tunisia Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

The goals came from C.Kouame, J.Boga and a late extra time winner from Gervinho Ivory Coast 3-2 Congo (aet) Nigeria (Gavrenwick) v Angola (EvilDave) To be it wasn't the one sided affair the scoreline suggests with Nigeria coming up 3-1 winners. Angola's goal came from C.Mata whilst Nigeria's goals came from K.Iheanacho and a brace from V.Osimhen Nigeria 3-1 Angola Ghana (Mandy42) v Uganda Mandy's side progressed through to the next round with a 2-1 after extra time win against Uganda. However it took an 89th minute equaliser from S.Tetteh to send the game into extra time with the same player scoring the eventual winner Ghana 2-1 Uganda (aet) Algeria (Celtic_1967) v Morocco (Drogba11CFC) Algeria didn't turn up for the game as Morocco beat them with ease 3-0 thanks to goals from A.Hakimi, S.Amrabat and H.Ziyech Algeria 0-3 Morocco Egypt (Bagpuss) v Guinea (WLKRAS) Guinea got the upper hand on Egypt with a 2-0 win thanks to a penalty from S.Kaba and a low shot from L.Bangoura Egypt 0-2 Guinea African Cup of Nations ¼ Final Draw Mali (Sherm) v Tunisia (Affo) Senegal (BenArsenal) v Ghana (Mandy42) Nigeria (Gavrenwick) v Morocco (Drogba11CFC) Ivory Coast (markwilson27) v Guinea (WLKRAS) Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Mali's early goal came from M.Marega but a brace from W.Khazri and a N.Sliti goal sealed the victory and a semi final place for Affo's side Mali 1-3 Tunisia January 27th: Senegal (BenArsenal) v Ghana (Mandy42) A second minute sending off of B.Mensah saw Ghana struggling from the get go and eventually they were beat 4-1 by Senegal. Ghana's only goal came from A.Ayew. Senegal's goals came from M.Niang, I.Gueye, S.Mane and K.Diatta Senegal 4-1 Ghana Nigeria (Gavrenwick) v Morocco (Drogba11CFC) Gavrenwick's side dominated the game against Morocco and ran out easy 3-0 winners with a brace from V.Osimhen and a goal from J.Aribo Nigeria 3-0 Morocco January 29th: Ivory Coast (markwilson27) v Guinea (WLKRAS) An easy win for markwilson27's Ivory Coast as they beat WLKRAS's Guinea 3-1 thanks to goals from J.Boga, W.Zaha and N.Pepe.
