Killtic Posted February 1, 2021 Share Posted February 1, 2021 Free kick tactics are useless because most of the time random players take them and even when they do the don't take them how you've directed them to. So it isn't surprising when a CB like Pique is taking direct free kicks when assigned players like Messi, Pjanic, Coutinho and Griezmann are on the pitch. A lot of the time when the assigned players do take them they play them short for players like my CBs and defensive midfielders with terrible shooting stats to shoot while I've set my tactics for the takers to play direct shots. As for indirect free kicks they always end in a goal kicks because the takers never play them anywhere near other players no matter the tactics I set.
