How do I convince players to nationalize for my country

Hey.

I'm having a safe as the national coach for Ivory Coast.
 

There is quite a lot of players who are not willing to play for me even though they are on my searching list for players who are willing to play for me. Is this because my assistant coach is bad at judging who want to play for me or is there a way where I can convince these players to play for me?

I don't think that there is anything that you can do to persuade a player to change nationality as it is a big decision to make.  It can also depend what their original nationality is as some countries do not allow dual nationalities and so changing will require the player to do a complete change rather than adding another nationality

I guess if you are start winning and gaining reputation, climbing as a nation, they will be more amenable... It will take time though.
