Zentavius Posted February 9, 2021 Share Posted February 9, 2021 On both FM20 and 21, I've had players decide to leave at the end of a season on a free, at which point the game sets up a status that they've decided to go. However, in several cases I've managed to get the player on side only to then be stuck with them leaving even when they are absolutely over the moon to be there and think I'm Alex Fergusons more gifted brother when it comes to management. It seems there should be a way to have clear the air talks to see if a player would agree to stay. Instead you are unable to offer a contract as they are permanently stuck as wishing to leave after they make that decision. Its a fairly small issue but seems a good quality of life and realism fix.
