jammy8892 Posted February 11, 2021 Share Posted February 11, 2021 I've just been promoted and my new signings are asking for appearance/goal/clean sheet bonuses that would be unsustainable if I got relegated again. I can mitigate the salary increase by putting in a 25% salary reduction upon relegation, but the bonuses would kill my finances and I wondered whether this is accurate to real life contracts? Do you invest in staying up or consolidate and accept relegation. We have all been there. There are examples of both working in real life.
