shaunvamos
These 2 guys have just popped up for international consideration He's already considered the second best LWB in Luxembourg, but he's rejected us for the time being. I reckon that could change soon though. I'm really excited about the prospect of a Bayern academy player playing for the national team. But that's nothing compared to this guy... He's an U20 World Cup winner with Germany after he switched 4 years ago, but he has 13 caps for Luxembourg before he switched. But it seems like he's considering a switch back, and we'd be more than happy to have him. Not only because he's far and away our best striker, but also because of this: That should be enough to get anyone excited! Now to convince him to join the revolution...
shaunvamos
Preseason 2048 A strong preseason, with good wins against Halmstads and Flora Tallinn in the Champions League. Whilst the score line wasn't massive, we were dominant. We also did quite well against Dinamo, but it wasn't quite enough. That's okay though, because I've given us until season 10 to make the group stages. Albania's KF Tirana stands between us and the Europa League group stages. We made no transfers again, as we are right on the limit of the squad rules. Winning the league should be a foregone conclusion for the foreseeable future. National Team I arranged friendlies against top 100 teams I thought we could beat, and I was right I think this is the way forward when it comes to improving our ranking in the short term. shaunvamos
August 2048 We eke out a win against Tirana to qualify for our first ever Europa League, and we're rewarded with a pretty terrible draw. I don't even think we'll get past Kobenhavn. We use the money we got from Europe on more upgrades.
shaunvamos
September 2048 I'm really surprised we got a win over Kobenhavn, but it makes me hopeful we can finish 3rd and get into the Conference League knockouts. National Team We somehow find ourselves top of the table after 2 games, but the Czechs will probably beat us.

shaunvamos
October 2048 Untouchable in the league, and we got real close to Hertha and Bilbao. shaunvamos
November 2048 Progres pushed us in the league, and we manage to qualify for the Conference League knockouts with a win over Kobenhavn. National Team A disappointing end to the Nations League, but overall I'm very pleased with what we accomplished here.
shaunvamos
December 2048 I have no idea how we got that result against Hertha In other news, we're out of the cup, and we have done nothing but win in the league. Our European escapades are likely to end though, as we've been drawn against 2040 Conference League winners Hibernian. Hopefully this preview bears fruit, as it looks like we'll have a good CB, CM and ST. National Team Michel Hoffman Stanisław Zając Joël Schmit Marek Nawrocki Paulo Lebre Christophe Holtz Hugo Pereira 6C* Ricardo Mangle Jason Bossi Fabrizio Frassetti Gilles Trierweiler We end my best ever year with the national team, as some of our Schifflange players begin to infiltrate the team. shaunvamos
March 2049 We put up a great fight against Juventus, only losing by a goal, and we're 3 wins away from winning every league game this season. National Team We held top seeds Scotland to only 1 goal, before defeating Macedonia away. I think we can definitely finish 4th here, as we should be too strong for Latvia, especially once we get Fernandes into the squad.

shaunvamos
Preseason 2049 I have to say I'm a little disappointed with our performance in Europe. I don't mind losing to Randers, but we should really be beating Larne, even if they are Conference League regulars. We face Brno of the Czech Republic in the Conference League playoff, and given our recent form I'm not very optimistic. No transfers again, I'm waiting until our foreign players get citizenship so they can play for the national team, then sell and replace them. Shouldn't even be close. Interesting that newly promoted side Petange are predicted all the way up in 5th! National Team A pretty shocking display for Fernandes' debut games, but he scored on his debut. He then scored a double in our excellent win over 55th ranked Canada. We've just got to get a little more consistent I think.
shaunvamos
August 2049 A perfect start to the league, especially in our opening game against Medernach where we had 55 shots and 7 xG! When we blew a 2-1 lead in stoppage time to Brno, I was very worried we'd be without European football for the first time in 5 years. But a fantastic performance in the home leg sees us into the group stages again. I think we can get out of this group! Tirana will probably give us the biggest test. shaunvamos
September 2049 Progres beat us, which both annoys and excites me. Maybe this season won't be a foregone conclusion. Also off to a sluggish start in the Conference League. National Team Got the job done against Latvia, and put up a good fight against the Scots.
shaunvamos
October 2049 Flawless in the league, with Hammami scoring a hattrick in three of the four games this month. We're also in worrying form in the Conference League. We seem to be missing that extra something. National Team Disappointed to draw against Macedonia in a match I expected to win, but then we went and wiped Denmark of the field 3-0! The breakthrough has got to be just around the corner.

shaunvamos
November 2049 I toned down our mentality from attacking to control, and I think it's worked for the better. A good win against Panathinaikos and dominant in the league. If I had changed sooner we probably would've made it through the groups. National Team A very strong finish to our qualifying campaign, almost pipping Switzerland. The change from attacking to control worked well here too. shaunvamos
December 2049 Just about perfect I wish we switched mentality sooner, we definitely could've qualified. shaunvamos
February 2050 Par for the course domestically, but there's some bad news. shaunvamos
Preseason 2050 Couldn't have asked for a better performance in the Champions League! Swept past Hungarian Paksi and Finnish Inter Turku, and perhaps our best performance over two legs in a European tie sees us defeat Zenit. The away draw was on the back of a spectacular effort playing a man down for nearly three quarters of the game. We face Maribor for a spot in the group stages. We lost 2-1 on aggregate to them 5 years ago, but we're much stronger than we were then. Transfers (In) Due to the late prizemoney we received from the Conference League (about 3M) the board turned us professional less than 3 months after making revert. Nevertheless, I am relying on loan players to fill some gaps for us this season. Due to our HG rules (I need 9 out of 16 in the match squad) every player on the bench is HG, which leaves space for two of our CBs as well as the DM, LWB, both CMs and one ST to be non-HG. Miller (half German) is the striker, Weiß and Manninen the CMs, Freiberger the DM, Carre the LWB and Kıroğlu the CB. Due to the fact that we haven't brought anyone in for 5 seasons these guys are so much better than the guys we already have, and it's already been highlighted in our European performances. Transfers (Out) Schaus wasn't good enough to make it here, but as a current Luxembourg international I'm more than happy to let him go somewhere he can play often. I also released 13 players who didn't make it into our 35 man domestic squad and were also too old to play U21s. Looks like it'll be easy again, but Progres have re-turned pro just like us. shaunvamos
August 2050 A 93rd minute penalty sends us into our (and Luxembourg's) first ever Champions League group stage! We're drawn in an absolutely terrible group, but I've hit that 10 season goal of getting to this stage so I'm happy. Due to our massive amount of income I felt safe to do some more upgrades, as we have 6 million to spare after these.
shaunvamos
September 2050 Business as usual in the league, and we had a win in the Champions League! shaunvamos
October 2050 I'm pretty happy we kept it to 4-1 against a team like Real Madrid. A good win against a top 50 side in El Salvador too.
shaunvamos
November 2050 Disappointing to draw against Progres, but we did have to play a weakened team after our phenomenal draw against Madrid Our last game at Lille determines whether we bow out last or qualify for the Europa League. National Team We couldn't win the group But maybe we just aren't ready for that yet. This is an absolutely terrible group, because we won't get results against Germany or Ireland.
