Database updates

Is there any way in future versions of the game that when database updates come out there is some way in the editor of selecting the records that have changed in the database (as opposed to changes made to the record in the editor by you)

As someone who updates player histories to tidy up the data the player updates are a pain. New records would be, I assume, be fine as they are just adding to the database but changes to existing records mess up you own changes because the SI update is likely newer than the one I have done

Some kind of separation between SI changes & user changes as a search criteria would be good. Equally offering the choice to just add new records to the database when the new one is launched would be more than acceptable
