alkit
Hi All, This question is directed to SI support people (and any other people who have had similar problem and got it resolved). I recently got a gift of WWSM 2009 through Steam from a friend. However I just have a Macbook and not a PC machine. So Basically I cannot use the gift. My friend tried to get in touch with Steam support by posting a comment on their support webpage, asking for a refund. However we havent heard back in about a week. Can someone please help?? I am really looking forward to getting a refund and then buying a Mac version. Thanks Ankit
Wakers
Try calling steam. Their customer support is beyond rubbish, so calling (and calling repeatedly) is likely the only way your friend will get their money back.
alkit
Steam has a phone number and once you get to the appropriate extension,it says " Support is only through the online support system" or something to that effect. I am beyond frustation right now!!!
Bardia
Try calling steam. Their customer support is beyond rubbish, so calling (and calling repeatedly) is likely the only way your friend will get their money back. He can't call, like he said they don't talk about Steam on their phone number.

Matt ex SEGA
Do you have a Steam ticket number? If so could you please PM it to me?
alkit
Hi Guys, The issue got resolved. My friend got a refund for the whole amount, although the email from Steam did say that this was a one time thing, generally the purchases are non-refundable. Thanks to all those who helped :-D
