Tactic help please

Hi everyone,

Loving fm09 so far and not doing too badly in my second season with Liverpool but i have a tactical question to help me getting my players doing what I want them to do. When I attack and the striker (Torres) gets the ball i'd like my two AMC's to run past him and support which they don't do and instead they just hold back. I'm playing a christmas tree formation 4-3-2-1 and if i can sort this out i won't be stopped!

I'd be grateful for some advice/similar experiences to help me out. Thanks.

I would set Torres maybe to Hold up the Ball . Then have two AMC making forward runs and maybe one of run with the ball . And a attacking mentality of maybe 16 . I would also give one of them free roles and high creative freedom , may work

Cheers mate, I tried the forward arrows but when I got the ball from deep my MC didn't have any options as the AMC's wer upfront. I'll set Torres to hold up ball it makes sense.

Just set one of the AMC to forward runs , as then there is always an option for DMC to pass to
