Director of Football

I have just appointed my first DoF on FM2021 as I now manage in a higher league than I have done so far on the game so need/want help in player contracts, transfers etc.  I can see in the Transfer Targets section that I can specify what Squad Status I wish to offer the player, along with max transfer fee and wage amount but I can't see anyway to specify the length of contract I wish to offer the player.  
Also, when I wish to offer one of my own players a new deal, I can't see where I can specify length of contract, max wage etc.  
Anybody able to advise?  I have a big transfer window coming up so wish to be able to know what I am doing.
