Avelives
Im half way through my Man City game now, we are 4th in the league and have beaten liverpool 3-1 away and Chelsea 3-0 at home (butchered them) granted we have had some ropey draws and a few losses along the way but still we are doing well, the board are delighted... And yet apparently they are still dissapointed about losing 3-1 to Middlesborough... talk about holding a grudge Perhaps the chairman has some personal hatred of Gareth Southgate hehe Anyone else got some funny board comments to share? baker.simon
"the board are delighted with your progress in acheiving the clubs long term strategy" "however your 2-1 loss to Chelsea is something the board cant ignore" or words to that effect, thats from my hull save in which im currently 12th place! from Newcastle save :- "the board feel that Michael Owen's recent have been dissapointing and thins is something you should address" again, not exact word for word but near enough. the same Michael Owen by the way who has scored 22 in 34 games including 7 in his last 5! WTF?????
Carradona
Sometimes the board complains just for the sake of it. I've had them moan at me at 1-1 draws. They just have to say something negative. I think these boards are the inspiration for that
