Is there a way to force a player to commit to your national team over another one

I am trying to do this with a regen and i looked through the editor but i cant see a way to force them to play for my national team or remove the other nationality so they can only play for my national team.

Go to in-game editor and check the box 'declared for nation' but make sure their primary nationality is shown on their profile before. Or secondary of course if you want them to play for their scond nationality team.
