I'm open to all suggestions, has anybody else started with a team from there and got them to the Premier League? A cool background story or an interesting club would be ideal. Whenever I start down that low I always look for a smaller club that's never gone above that level (ie - Tonbridge, Leamington, Curzon Ashton etc) as it gives you a chance to create history. Plus it makes the first few seasons much more challenging in terms of operating with a smaller squad, trying to recruit quality etc. Gloucester may be a good shout as well - they have been a mid-to-lower table side for a long time, however underwent a real recruitment and spending drive in the summer which has taken them right up the top. bucket Posted December 7, 2021 Share Posted December 7, 2021 I’m playing as Dorking. Promoted at second attempt. Now my owner has decided to build a new stadium at £3.3m. With a £1.8m loan. Ronaldo Beckham Posted December 7, 2021 Share Posted December 7, 2021 I am thinking of starting a save with Peterborough and I know they have a history of signing players from the English lower divisions so I was just wondering if any of you guys know of any good players in the Vanarama leagues that could do a good job in the Championship ?
