Thought it might be worth re-visiting this again . I know its not actually a stadium creator but you can play around with it to change a few things in your existing stadium or created one with these options .

You need to use the resource archiver to obtain the Comp Editor File from the game files . Once you have got it  Please back it up first before altering it !!!!!

Open the file comp editor\format\database  then open the stadium XML File and find or search for stadium sides

You will see this section

Save XML file and then use the Resource Archiver to put the Comp Folder back into the game from where it came from

Open your editor and go to your stadium and you should now see this ( See Below )

You can alter or spread your seating and spectators around the ground . The total capacity has to match the capacity you set in details . The Condition is that of the stadium 0 - 20 . Age is the age of the stadium and this will determine if its made of concrete , Brick or Wood . Roof over all of the stadium or certain parts . Roof Supports or pillars i think they are . Even some that are in renovation or temporarily closed .

Seems to work best on stadiums over 10000 . As i said it isnt perfect so it might take some time to work out how or what it does

It would be interesting to know all the different types of stands in the game and how to recreate each one, because I spent a lot of time editing the official base and then when the game came out, I realised that it didn't represent my values very well.

For example, if I select a stand to have only one tier, but it has a capacity of more than 10.000, no matter what, that stand (and the whole stadium) will have 2 or 3 tiers.

Now thanks to this editor I will be able to do tests and see the results instantly.

This is a game changer! I've had a play around with the below results

Somerset Park: I have removed the corners at the main stand, changed the main stand from a terrace to seats, changed the stand opposite the main stand to a terrace and removed it's roof

Cappielow Park: I have made both goal end stands terraces, changes the main stand from a terrace to seats and removed the corners

A further trial this time with Hamilton Accies (Stadium capacity 6018). I have removed one side stand and swapped around the goal ends giving Hamilton their 2-sided stadium

Editing the stands and keeping the capacity as it, I have found that you have to reset every stand to 0 then make your changes for them to show in the match engine.

In my case, I am still finding some difficulty with the number of bleachers in the stadium. As an example the maracanã: I am trying to reproduce only 2 bleachers, instead of 3 as in the image.

The same is still true with some stadiums that have only one grandstand and insist on appearing two.

I don’t think it is possible to edit the number of tiers/bleachers within a stand

Possible is because I did it with some. But others insist on not changing the number of stands.

Just testing and testing to find the exact point. If I get it here, I leave feedback

No dont think there is . Majestic pitch mods do change the colours of the outfield though .

i hope so much, Stadium editing is in next time more possible like at the moment.

Other Part: i know two Turf Patches for FM21. last year i used the one (for fm20) from majestic. in FM21 i use the first one.

This anyone tried this method in FM 23.

For me it does not work. I can edit stadiums in FM, but in games, nothing changes.

 

LE: It works, but you need to add 0 to all 8 pieces first, before building the stadium. Also for stadiums with no parts, first uncheck in use button, and after, uncheck exist button.

you can do it in FM Editor, but after you use the first post tutorial.

the only bad side is that you need to start new career, and also.. sometimes it will not be the way you wanterd.

 

For example.. i have a stadium that has a middle part that is in the middle of nowhere...and it supposed to be fixed with the others...

I'm trying to do this - have extracted the XML but i don't know how i put it back into the game using the resource archiver...

Anyone able to help me out here?

This is what i was trying to remove too - even if i give equal capacity to each side it still displays like the above?!

How did you get the stadium XML file back into the comp editor?

Use this mod, and you don't need to do anything to any comp file XML.

Follow the instructions, Install this mod, and you can modify stadiums freely.

 

Remember, that if you do many changes in your dB, sometimes it won't save, and the stadium changes you did, it will fail. So every... 5-10 minutes or so, load original dB, load your stadium dB again, and verify the file - if any failed, fix it.
