evo______
Hi, I have just found that FM21 has terrible lag if G-Sync is turned on. I have done all the obvious things like uninstalled drivers etc. (I have a decent spec: Samsung Odysee G7 32", Ryzen 3700X, RTX 3070, 32GB DDR4 RAM, 1TB SSD) If I have G-sync turned off it's ok, but very odd issue as G-sync is suppossed to provide lag free gaming with no tearing etc.. kevhamster
Just set the refresh rate in FM to match that of your monitor. If you have any modern Nvidia card then it should handle max settings at whatever refresh rate your monitor can display. G-sync shouldn't be needed for FM. evo______
You can't set the the refresh rate in the games settings... But I have found that it's more to do with an HDR issue. If HDR is turned on in Windows (you need an HDR monitor for this) the game stutters, therefore it's not G-sync. Gsync is an advanced tool for managing fps and refresh rates. Football Manager is G-sync compatible. So this is an HDR issue and I've seen it in another post too. I suppose because not many people have HDR or high end graphics cards it's not been noticied yet, but having to tone down my display settings just to play the game seems strange.. It should be able to produce HDR as it's only a colour profile.
