Not being updated on fundamental pieces of news

Hey guys, this has happened to me more times than I could stand.
I scout a guy, contact the agent, do some more scouting, I come back a few weeks later or so and he signed a new contract with his current squad.

Now, I always keep these guys in my F6 list (I don't know how it's called in English, sorry lol), and it's very unrealistic to literally be in touch with a player's agent and still not get a message in your inbox if that player starts negotiating with his club.
I checked inbox preferences and they're all set properly. I get notified when another club makes an offer, but if the current club offers a renewal, I legit have no way to tell, which is very unrealistic.

This also happened with a guy that was loaned in. He was gonna run out of contract and I was ready to offer him one, but I wanted to wait a little bit to see if I could grab someone better. Then he signed with another club and I only found out when I opened his profile to make an offer myself.
I literally have the guy training every day with me on the pitch and yet I'm not informed when he gets in touch with another team?

As of now, this is affecting gameplay as I now have to sign a player immediately if I like him instead of taking the time to weigh in all other options.

Why so?

You can set agent notifications to go to your inbox. Mine (untouched, I think) goes to the scouting centre and I'm notified there that a player has been offered a new contract. Go to the scouting centre and choose how you want messages to be delivered.

the thing is, I already set that to inbox. For example, I'm receiving player agent offers all the time. Every time you get one of those, there's a button in the bottom right corner to customise that, and I ticked everything to go to my inbox, but still some actions (like same club renewals) seem to not be delivered to me.

I'm not talking about agent offers. That's a different item to set. I was referring to agent notifications. If you see it's not working though, either set it back to where it was or check your scouting centre? It's definitely showing up in the scouting centre.
