Dundalis
So I've been avoiding putting in bids for players when I ask agents about availability and they list a whole bunch of required promises the player will want to sign (which most of the time end up locked from what I've seen at contract talks). But I'm wondering now, if you leave the contract negotiation to your DOF in those situations, do you still have to keep those promises even though you as manager didn't make them? Or will they not be included? I've never seen a promise I've had to keep from a DOF contract negotiation before so I don't know if that would still be the case. Freakiie
On one of my holiday test saves my DOF signed a guy and he was apparently promised that he would be assigned as the primary penalty taker. As I was holidaying that obviously didn't happen and when I checked back in at the end of the season he kicked up quite a fuss about it.
phd_angel
Since always, delegating hiring and firing by AI is a very poor option. Unfortunately, it is always better if you handle all player contracts yourself...
cris182
The player is made the promise, He doesn't care who makes it, He just cares that it is fulfilled
