His parent club contract has a minimum fee release clause of $245,000, which I got a news update expires in 3 days (Aug 2025). I tried to make a bid for him, but the club reject it and negotiate $1M+. The player's parent club contract goes until 2027, and there is no modifier with his release clause (ie clubs in higher divisions, foreign teams etc.). Just says minimum fee release clause. I'm in the Portuguese 2nd division, and his parent club is also in the 2nd division (we've been promoted 2 years in a row). Is it possible my knowledge of his parent club contract is not up to date (I have 1 scout...). I would assume if he's at my club on loan, I know everything about him.
