Mägge
@Neil Brock any ideas about that one? Quote The client sometimes got stuck in the weekly cycle. While the host is already on his "desktop", the client cannot do anything. He can click on "browse" and nothing happens. He has to quit and reload the game. SI Staff John Kendall-Torry Posted May 6, 2021 SI Staff Share Posted May 6, 2021 Hi @Mägge We've taken a look at the save and unfortunately as the player count is well above the recommend limit. Running over the recommended limit is unsupported and there is a potential that issues like this could well occur. We would very much suggest starting a new game within the limit and seeing if you encounter the same issue. Thanks for taking the time to upload the save and provide all the information you have. Mägge
@John Kendall-Torry But only the client has the problem, not the host. the host has no problems, how is that supposed to lead to problems with the client during the week? SI Staff John Kendall-Torry Posted May 10, 2021 SI Staff Share Posted May 10, 2021 Hi @Mägge With the player limit being over this could cause issues for either the host or client hence why there is a recommendation message saying the limit. Could you try a new save under the limit to see if this issue is still happening for the client or if the issue happens for the host? Also are all the graphic drivers updated on the clients machine? Mägge
Hi @John Kendall-Torry all drivers and windows are up to date. i think that a database that is too big is not the problem. after all, these are only exceptions and not the rule when the error occurs. We are now in September 2023, except for the occasional drop-out, everything is working. at least the error with the inbox no longer appeared...
