Stalur
Can anyone help me find a good guide where I can read up on the best ways to try and stop your opponent and their strongest plays? No matter how I try I almost never beat the top teams in premier league. I want to know how to try and stop Mane in the best way or how to not be overrun by ManC. If they do like "this", then you should try "that". As I said, I want some reading material to try and understand better. I realize of course that there is no fix but most guides in here focus on how my own team should play but against some opponents you just have to find the best way to defend and exploit their mistakes or weaknesses. Thank you!

Thank you! I'd advise reading through some of the threads @herne79 has written over the years. You get a good idea into their thinking and processes when developing tactics and how they can be tweaked during matches against a variety of opposition. https://community.sigames.com/forums/topic/465977-developing-my-4123dm-wide-tiki-taka/ https://community.sigames.com/forums/topic/364527-developing-my-4-4-2/ There's many more, but these have good examples of how to tweak against certain opposition.
Zemahh
General guides: Adapting on game-by-game basis: These can point you in the right direction in terms of thought process, but they're not "if they do this, you do that" type of guides.
