That scrub Romagnoli isn't even on 34 man list. Darmian or Calabria deserved a spot. Lazzari, Di Lorenzo and Florenzi are all attack oritented RBs. It's going to be sad when Bonucci-Chiellini duo starts.
XuluBak
There are a few names on there that probably shouldn't still be on there, but no real surprises.
Astafjevs
Calabria deserved to be in there but his absence isn't going to make a difference. Just would have been nice to see his quality season recognised. Romagnoli should be there too. He's better than Toloi. And Acerbi. And Mancini.
GunmaN1905
It's not like Toloi is making it to the final list. It's 36 with Joriginho and Emerson, I'd guess that these 10 names will be out for the final list: Biraghi, Toloi, Acerbi (or Mancini), Di Lorenzo, Cristante, Raspadori, Grifo, Pessina. That's 8. Then it gets interesting in attack. I think Bernardeschi has had an awful season and absolutely doesn't deserve to be in the final squad, but he'll probably get called up. Politano has been decent, but he'll probably be out. And one of Berardi/Kean. Probably Berardi. Although I'd rather have Berardi than Bernardeschi. There's enough quality in midfield, so Bernardeschi is only a winger in this situation and Berardi is way better, even in that role.

Midfield is also almost guaranteed. Barella-Jorginho-Verratti. Belotti or Immobile up front. Chiesa and Insignie on the wings would be my choice, but Mancini often used Pellegrini there, even though he's a midfield playmaker, not a winger. Defense is the biggest issue and question mark. Bastoni had by far the best season out of all CBs and he's left-footed, so he should start. But we might see what's left of Chiellini, as is Italian tradition to play all-time greats way past their expiry date. Bonucci has been nothing short of atrocious this season, but he probably takes the right CB spot. Fullbacks are even bigger question mark. Florenzi probably starts on the right and Emerson on the left. Spinazzola always struggles with staying healthy. We might even see Bastoni on LB, I wouldn't put that out of question. Astafjevs
Donnarumma; Florenzi, Bonucci, Chiellini/Acerbi, Emerson; Barella, Jorginho, Verratti; Chiesa, Immobile, Insigne Will be Italy's lineup. Only uncertainty is Emerson. He would normally start but he's played basically no football so Mancini might be forced to go for Spinazzola on grounds of match sharpness. It might depend on how well Emerson does in warmup games.

Astafjevs
Insigne is a guarantee. I think he prefers Immobile over Belotti. Realistically both are ****, Belotti has a slightly better record for Italy but he's scored against a lot of weak teams. He'll go with Immobile because of how many he's scored in Serie A. Berardi has been pretty good when he's played, but Chiesa ended the season well and I think he'll start the first game. If he sucks in the first two games, Berardi might take his place

georginho_juventusygr
Berardi should have controlled the ball, shot, and scored. Or Mancini should have brought Chiesa on earlier. Italy played 30 minutes longer than necessary and had to recover longer. Fortunately, it's Mancini and not Conte. If the latter were still in charge, the quarter final would be full of injuries again, and it would be an earlier vacation.
