I have chosen Benidorm (having switched them with a club in the second division B3! Having lived their for 6 months and been there 20 or 30 times I decided to give it a go. Thanks for @abulezzfor getting me back into it again! Facilities I have brought their facilities up to the average for our league! The Team We have no players but I have also just realised that it seems us being in this Division doesn't happen until next year (might be an issue of mine in the editor) so I will be holidaying through to the first intake and then into the new season to see if it updates correctly! Interesting to see the moving around of the PA vs PPA however! Players YP21A - Rajko Amidzic YP21B - Jon Garrido YP21C - Miguel YP21D - Romildo YP21E - N'Fally Camara YP21F - Alexandre Moukam YP21G - Brais Andres YP21H - Jorge YP21I - Jorge Carlos Castellano YP21J - Juan Carlos Hernandez YP21K - Jaidvert Murillo YP21L - Simon YP21M - Casimiro Balaguer YP21N - Alex YP21O - Ximo Vera YP21P - Carlos Arboleda This will be largely the team that plays next year and on average they are about 60 or 70 CA points away from being able to compete in this league. I have split each position into a different tab on a spreadsheet and have highlighted the most relevant stats to the position they are being asked in the team which is the following: Goalkeeper (Defending) Inverted Wing Back (Support) Ball Playing Defender (Defending) Deep Lying Playmaker (Support) Winger (Attacking) Shadow Striker (Attacking) Advanced Forward (Attacking) For each of these I have done some conditional formatting to show you where they are currently stat wise: 0-9 = Red 10-14 = Yellow 15+ = Green I may add to this as I go along! deez0r Posted June 2, 2021 Author Share Posted June 2, 2021 Mid-Season Review Results As expected we have taken some battering but we have also won a few vital games against those around us in the bottom half! League Table 5pts clear of the bottom 3 with Elche B pretty much gone already. If we can keep beating those around us lets hope we can stay up! Spanish Cup We were thumped in the first round against another 2nd Division B side. I did play a lot of our youth to give our more senior players a rest for the more vital games in the league. Goalkeeper Watch Arboleda (YP21P) has 6 goals in 20 games. Ferrando has not started yet for us. Player Review - Rajko Amdizic (YP21A) Amidzic (YP21A) has been our main man this season. 11 goals and 4 assists from 19 games is a great return for a 16 year old! Youth Intake Preview We need players badly lets hope we can get them! Youth Review Goalkeepers No CA increases here and very little improvement in terms of stats. Ferrando has improved up to 7 on his concentration but we really do need a better goalkeeper to come in. Arboleda (YP21P) has scored 6 times which included a hat trick (one for you @Jimbokav1971). I removed the formatting so I can better show increases and decreases in attributes. Centre Backs Again not much development here and in fact some regression. Del Castillo is due to retire at the end of the season which will leave us very light at centre back. Disappointing that we havent had any CA increases here as well. Full Backs Nice to see a small increase in CA for both Garrido (YP21B) and Andres (YP21G) although again not any improve in stats and some regression in the other 2 full backs. I think us being semi professional isnt helping their development. Def. Mid With Taiwo decreasing quickly I have started to give Miguel (YP21C) more game time which has meant he has started improving. Att. Mid Mikey has been the main man in attacking midfield and has performed very well netting 8 goals and grabbing 3 assists. The others have struggled to have any sort of impact for us this season and with their poor personalities havent developed yet at all. Wingers Again some stat regression here but we have seen 2 of the youngsters get an increase in CA. Garcia and Milanesi is our main wingers currently but the others are getting some game time! Strikers Nice to see that the better personalities do develop quicker. Simon (YP21L) has jumped an impressive 4 CA points and has played very well. Almansa being the only realistic team we can catch. We play 14th placed Alzira at home whilst Almansa play 5th placed Yeclano! A lot of the new graduates are in the team lets hope these youngsters can have a day to remember! The Match 1st Half 3rd Minute: A poor pass by Andres (YP21G) allows Almansa striker Carlos Alberto to nip in and place it past our keeper. The worst possible starts 24th Minute: Yeclano take the lead in the other big game at the bottom! 25th Minute: Alex Ligero doubles Alzira's lead with a fine shot from 25 yards into the bottom corner 27th Minute: Another fantastic long range goal by Alzira this time from Tirlea means Benidorm are all but down. HALF TIME Almansa 0-1 Yeclano Bendorm 0-3 Alzira 2nd Half 45th Minute: Alvaro Garcia gives Benidorm a lifeline firing home from the edge of the box. 46th Minute: A ball into the box finds Sayabera (YP22A) who controls and fires home for his first ever goal for the club. 66th Minute: Substitute Peris (YP22C) also fires in his first for the club smashing home a close range volley which means currently Benidorm are staying up! 93rd Minute: Young full back Granell (YP22E) whips a low cross in to Milanesi who deftly flicks the ball over the Alzira keeper to complete an unbelievable turnaround! FULL TIME Almansa 0-1 Yeclano Benidorm 4-3 Alzira We end up moving above Alzira as well as I forgot that it goes on head to head not goal difference. Some crazy games including a 10-0 defeat, a 7-4 defeat and a 6-5 win before the madness that was the final day comeback! League Table Any form of survival this season was going to be a huge achievement and we managed to do it! Spanish Cup This isnt the priority currently as we try and cement ourselves in this division! Goalkeeper Watch Arboleda (YP21P) scored an impressive 7 goals in 32 games before new youth graduate Martin (YP22I) took over and he is yet to get off the mark in 3 games but does have 1 assist! Player Review - Miguel (YP21C) Took over from Taiwo for most of the 2nd half of the season to aid his development. He is yet to get off the mark for us but has started to go up a decent amount of CA points! Other News Youth Review I have put some of the previous seasons graduates down to the reserve squad for now so will be removing them from my spreadsheets until such a point they are back in the first team squad again. Goalkeepers No real development here although new starter Martin (YP22I) has only had a couple of games. He will continue to be the main man next season between the sticks. Arboleda (YP21P) will be our backup although he did get the amazing feat of scoring a hat trick for us this season! Centre Backs We are down to 3 centre backs in the first team squad although 2 or 3 full backs are capable of playing in there as well. Nice to see some green in here with Alex (YP21N) improving his jumping and Andres (YP22J) improving his marking and positioning as well as jumping up a CA point. Hurtado (YP22H) has yet to start a game but will get time next season! Full Backs This is much better in terms of development. All players going up at least 1 CA point and in most cases 3 or 4! Both new youth graduates have hit the ground running with Sanchez (YP22D) showing some fantastic improvement! Def. Mid With Taiwo leaving at the end of the season we will move some of our further forward midfielders to play this deep lying playmaker role. The 2nd half of the season has seen Miguel (YP21C) take over in this role which has enabled him to develop up 5 CA points this season and with his technique and vision increasing its a good sign! Att. Mid We have 4 players who can play in this attacking midfield position although next season I think I will start dropping Rodriguez (YP22F) back into the deep lying playmaker role as his stats are better suited for it. Mikey was our main man in this position scoring some vital goals and providing nearly double figures in assists. The others did get some game time towards the end of the season to try and aid development. Wingers Our 2 main wingers in Garcia and Milanesi has pretty much played most games this season. However with Garcia being 35 and rapidly declining the other 3 will definitely get more game time this season which should see those stats starting to creep upwards! Peris (YP22C) came up with a massive goals on the final day that seen us stay up! Strikers Down to 3 strikers although others can play there. Amidzic (YP21A) and Simon (YP21L) were the main front 2 this season grabbing 35 goals between them. New graduate Sayabera (YP22A) started the final 3 games and also got a goal in that amazing final day game! I believe this is done with the editor (could be mistaken!) which I don't use but I like the idea that you know what the PA of every player is so you can see just how effective your development strategies are. Yeah it was mainly used to compare the PA vs PPA which I have always found interesting. Sayabera (YP22A) has been fantastic with 15 goas in 19 games! League Table Much better than last season as the players develop. Sitting 11pts clear of the drop in mid table! Spanish Cup For some reason we weren't entered this season. I hope this is just a bug for this season! Goalkeeper Watch Martin (YP22I) has 4 goals in 19 games this season. Arboleda (YP21P) has only had 1 sub appearance thus far. Player Review - Bernabe Sanchez (YP22D) This man's improvement has been fantastic. He is comfortably our best youth player in the squad. He has also opened his goalscoring for the club with 1 goal thus far! Youth Intake Preview Looks like another sold intake. The wingers would be nice! Youth Review Goalkeepers Unfortunately not much change here and despite Martin (YP22I) playing nearly every game he hasn't developed at all yet. Centre Backs Alex (YP21N) again isnt really developing and will probably be replaced by one of our full backs who can play centre half. Nice to see Andres (YP22J) developing 3 CA points and Hurtado (YP22H) is only back from injury and will start getting more game time now. We have had some of our full backs fill in at centre back this season. Full Backs Impressive here. Garrido (YP21B) has been playing a lot at centre back but has shown great development which is shown in his stat improvement and CA development. The same can be said about Andres (YP21G). The most amazing development is that of Sanchez (YP22D) who has shot up an incredible 14 CA points in half a season. This also shows how a positive personality can really be a plus point! Def. Mid Have moved Rodriguez (YP22F) back into the deep lying playmaker role as his stats better suit it. Nice to see a solid jump from him and Miguel (YP21C) in their CA development! Att. Mid This will be Mikey's last year at the club so that we can bring through the other attacking players that can play this position. Unfortunately Moukam (YP21F) hasn't developed at all and again as you can see throughout the personality really does seem to be affecting this. Same (YP22B) on the other hand has shown some fabulous development in his CA! Wingers Probably the most disappointing of all the positions. No CA development and a lot of stat regression Peris (YP22C) has been performing well but not developing at all. Hopefully the wingers predicted in the new intake are better! Strikers Our other standout development has been with Sayabera (YP22A) who has been our main man. 8 CA points development and stats increasing pretty much across the board. Amidzic (YP21A) has had a very disappointing season both in stats and his actual development. League Table We were joint with Orihuela going into the last day but a massive win at Levante B consolidated our status in the league for another season. Spanish Cup As mentioned before we were not included this season. Lets hope its a one off! Player Review - Juanfran Sayabera (YP22A) Our main man again this season he scored 22 times and got 5 assists in 34 games. Goalkeeper Watch Kerr (YP23B) played the last 4 games but is yet to get off the mark. Martin (YP22I) ended up with 6 goals and 2 assists in 30 games. But we are trying to give all players some game time to aid development so these will be expected for now. League Table We sit 9th in the table 9pts clear of the bottom 3. We are far from save however as last season we collapsed from a comfortable spot to only surviving on the last day! Spanish Cup Again it seems to be a bug where we arent in it. For now it isnt an issue but I hope it doesn't become one down the line when we are in the higher divisions. Player Review - Junior Allende (YP23E) It shows what a positive personality can do for development. He is now our starting right back and is progressing ver well. His mental stats are some of the best at the club and at 16 he can only get better. Goalkeeper Watch Kerr (YP23B) has 2 goals and 1 assist in 18 games thus far. Youth Intake Preview This looks really good, I hope the Gibraltarian striker is good! Youth Review Goalkeepers Kerr (YP23B) is our undisputed number 1 and he is developing very nicely. Martin (YP22I) will more than likely be replaced with the new intake as he hasn't developed at all. Centre Backs 2 centre backs with high potential (for this level) in Martin (YP23F) and Imasuen (YP23C) but 2 very poor personalities and they seem to be struggling with their development. I am continuing to rotate all 4 in and out to see how we progress this area. Full Backs If centre backs were out struggling area then full backs are definitely not. All players progressing nicely apart from Granell (YP22E) but he has had limited game time. Sanchez (YP22D) is the best player in our team and continues to develop well but has been outdone by Allende (YP23E) this season who has jumped an amazing 11 CA points thus far! Def. Mid Another area were I am really not sure who to play. All have had solid game time but havent increased in 1 CA point to stat anywhere! Att. Mid An area we need improving. Mikey will continue to be brought out of the team as his CA goes down but De Haro (YP23D) isnt improving at all with his bad personality. An area we have had to played wingers in to try and get more out of them. Wingers With Milanesi plummeting in terms of CA it is nice to see 2 of our newest intake have tried to step up to fill the void. Torrella (YP23I) and Bravo (YP23M) have jumped up nicely in their CA and will continue to get game time. Peris (YP22C) and Rubio (YP23H) again have not improved in CA at all which at their age is a worry. Strikers We are down to 2 strikers in the first team and some wingers who can be a backup. The good news is they have both stayed fit and are both developing very nicely. Sayabera (YP22A) is our main goal threat in most games and a ratio of a goal a game is outstanding. I have signed all the players of the intake Players YP24A - Ben Merchant This is exactly what we needed. A big prospect up top. His finishing is by far the best at the club and he will be coming straight into the first 11 to partner Sayabera. YP24B - Pau Another big prospect in an area we have a lot of quality in. The good news we are flexible in some of these positions. He will also be joining the first team. YP24C - Francisco Martinez An area we have been struggling with has been the wings. I will call Martinez up to the first team as well and will replace some of the bad personalities to see how this helps develop the team. YP24D - Aliou Diatta Here is our new backup keeper to replace Martin (YP22I). Nowhere near the quality of Kerr (YP23B) but a much more solid backup. YP24E - Brian Ibarra As like Martinez I will also call up Ibarra to the first team squad to replace another of the wingers with a bad personality. YP24F - Alain Bilbao I like the look of Bilbao and will call him up to the first team to play in the AMC role were we do not have much depth. YP24G - Kalida Guindo I quite like the mental stats on Guindo but I will leave him in the reserves for now for development. YP24H - Jose Carlos Perez Another solid winger who will be utilised in the u19's for now so he can get game time. YP24I - Adolfo Carmona An area we have been struggling in has been centre back and with a much better personality he could be an option for the first team now. But I will keep him in the u19's until next season and I will re-review. YP24J - Jose Vicente Simarro I think better suited to the AMC role, I will train him here and he will play in the u19's for now. YP24K - Jose Carlos Ortega Too slow to be a winger but does have solid mental and will be re-trained in the centre of the pitch. YP24L - Luis Similar to Carmona in that he doesn't have as much potential but does have a much better personality! YP24M - Carmelo Tena Really good tackling but needs to develop elsewhere. Will see how he develops in the u19's. YP24N - Damian I like the look of him and with his good personality he could definitely feature in the first team next season. YP24O - Kokou Nouwoklo A poor personality but signed to see how he develops. Not expecting much. League Table We finish in our highest ever spot in 7th place as the team gels together and develops nicely. With personalities also becoming more positive hopefully we can continue to look upwards rather than down. Spanish Cup As mentioned before we are not in it this season! Player Review - Kader Samb (YP22B) The strike partner for Sayabera most of the season he dropped back into the attacking midfield spot once Merchant came through. 10 goals and 7 assists this season is a good return. Player Of The Season - Juanfran Sayabera (YP22A) It couldn't have been anyone else. 30 goals and 7 assists in 34 games is a great return! Young Player Of The Season - Andres Bravo (YP23M) Not as much potential as some of our other wingers but always seems to perform when selected. 8 goals and 2 assists in 18 starts is a great return! Goalkeeper Watch Kerr (YP23B) ended up with 6 goals and 2 assists from 32 games and Diatta (YP24D) played the last 2 games but is yet to open his account. Other News Youth Review Goalkeepers Kerr (YP23B) - Cemented his place as our number one and has shown very good signs of development. Diatta (YP24D) - Conscious of his poor personality but he is the best backup keeper we have at the club. Centre Backs Martin (YP23F) - Again a poor personality which meant he only moved up 1 CA point in the whole season. With a few of the new intake with similar ability but better personality may mean he is down with the u19's next season. Andres (YP22J) - Not as much potential here but he definitely shows good signs of development. Useful as he plays the whole way across the back. Imasuen (YP23C) - Jumped up 2 CA points this season but again personality seems to be holding him back. Will continue to get game time but hopefully we can speed up his development. Garrido (YP21B) - Another of the lower potential but quicker developing players. Again has been solid this season and shown good improvement. Full Backs Carlos (YP23A) - Our starting left back in an area were we are spoilt with potential. Starting grabbing a few assists at the backend of the season which is always a good sign. Andres (YP21G) - Got a lot of game time this season but I think with the others here and their potential may be loaned out next season. Sanchez (YP22D) - The best player at the club currently. Didn't develop as much as last season but still solid improvement. His stats improved as well with 2 goals and 7 assists! Granell (YP22E) - No development here and will be loaned out next season if possible. Allende (YP23E) - Our main man in terms of development this season. A cracking 19 CA points! Pau (YP24B) - One of our big prospects from our latest intake. He will rotate on both full back spots with the main starters to aid his development. Def. Mid Rodriguez (YP22F) - This is our weakest position currently. With not much development between the 3 we could do with covering this off in next seasons intake. Rodriguez had slight development but with no much stats to back this up. Miguel (YP21C) - Improved a lot the season prior but has struggled this season. Potentially a loan move next season. Chafer (YP23G) - I liked the look of him but again personality wise he has struggled to develop for us despite a lot of game time. Att. Mid De Haro (YP23D) - A loan move will help him next season. Didn't get much game time but a season out on loan could help him develop. Bilbao (YP24F) - One of our new intake, he will play a lot of games here next season but may have Samb (YP22B) dropping back into this position now as well. Wingers Rubio (YP23H) - Limited game time this season and a loan move is probably best for all parties next season. Torella (YP23I) - I like him even though he has provided no goals or assists. Solid development from him this season. Bravo (YP23M) - Lower end potential but he doesn't half perform well and develop well. Useful squad player to have! Ibarra (YP24E) - Again I don't like the personality but he has jumped up 2 CA points in a short period of time as well as getting a double on his debut! Martinez (YP24C) - No development yet but he will get game time next season. Good potential and already one of the better wingers at the club! Strikers Sayabera (YP22A) - The main threat at the club. A record 30 goals this season for him and another double digit improvement in his CA! Samb (YP22B) - The highest development of any player at the club. Whilst I think he is better suited at the AMC role he played most of the season up top due to lack of other options. That should be changed now that Merchant is here! Merchant (YP24A) - The big prospect from the last intake. Already off the mark and provided an impressive 3 assists in 4 games. Next year could be a big year for him! Unfortunately most of these players have not developed at all and where not going to trouble some of the newer youth players. Out We sold Mikey and Milanesi (he is shown as sold last season) and lost a couple of our youth players. Blanco (YP23L) was never going to trouble the first team as was Ochoa (YP22O). League Table We sit mid table again. An up and down season but its another season of development for our players. Spanish Cup We are back in the cup but again it didn't last very long. A defeat to Oviedo from the division above sends us packing. Player Review - Ben Merchant (YP24A) Great development here from Merchant (YP24A) who has become one of our best players at the club already. Goalkeeper Watch Kerr (YP23B) has 3 goals in 20 games whilst Diatta (YP24D) has yet to play. Youth Intake Preview Lets hope we get a few more in who can help us right away! Youth Review Goalkeepers Kerr - Still our main man and is developing solidly. Clean sheets starting to creep up which is a good sign as well compared to the previous few season.s Diatta - Would have played the cup game but unfortunately got injured. Will try and get him a couple of games before end of season. Centre Backs Andres - His versatility has come in handy this season playing a number of different positions. Has hit the 50 CA milestone! Imasuen - Again slow development for our biggest prospect here which is a shame. Garrido - No development here but he has been playing solidly this season. Sanchez - Has been very solid in his new position of centre back. Being 6 foot 1 and his jumping reach soaring he is becoming very useful! Full Backs Carlos - More good development here from him although ideally I would more from my full backs in terms of assists. Andres - 4th choice full back so hasn't got as much game time and in turn his development has slowed. Can see a loan move happen if I am able to find one! Allende - Continues to develop incredibly quickly jumping another 14 CA points. If he keeps this up could be a race to become our first 100 CA player! Pau - Our 2nd big prospect from the last intake has really started improving. 7 games played and jumped 6 CA points. Could be a big player in the future. Def. Mid Miguel - This is our main area we need improving. Both have yet to improve a CA point this season despite a lot of game time. I may move Bilbao back to get more game time as he is developing much quicker. Chafer - Seems to be the better player out of the 2 and provides more but again some stat regression along with no CA development means he isnt a long term solution. Att. Mid Samb - Again showing great improvement and in a position I prefer him to play. Not only is he developing very quickly but he is also providing goals and assists for the team. Bilbao - Shown good progress here and has played on wings and in DM as well. Hope the development continues! Wingers Torrella - Went from being our 4th choice at the start of the season to being one of our main wingers due to his quick progression. Again needs to provide more in terms of goals and assists! Bravo - Not a big PA but continues to show very solid development. Hasn't provided as much as last season unfortunately. Ibarra - Poor personality but nice to see he has developed slightly. Martinez - Similar to Ibarra in that he has a poor personality but has at least jumped up 2 CA points! Strikers Sayabera - Still out main man this season in terms of goals netting 13 thus far. Development through all his stats shows how much he is improving. Merchant - Missed a few games as he is already playing u21 international football but has provided 5 goals in 16 games and showed a large increase in CA points. Nice to see some different nations as well, 2 from Equatorial Guinea, 1 from Croatia, 1 from USA, 1 from Paraguay, 1 from Norway and also a Bulgarian! The Players YP25A - Blas Alvarez An area we badly need some potential (and better personalities). A left footed centre back who will come straight into the first team squad. YP25B - Randy Cox Again an area we needed. Our holding midfield 2 of Miguel and Chafer have been struggling in terms of development so I think Cox will come in straight away and challenge them both. YP25C - Dinko Kovacec Our best ever CA player to come through the youth intakes. We currently only have 2 real strikers at the club so this could help take the burden of them both. Big prospect here! YP25D - Pepe Moreira Another like Cox who could be called up to the first team squad to replace the duo of Miguel and Chafer. Will be in the first team squad at least! YP25E - Adria Carbonell Another area we are a bit short in terms of numbers so he will come up to the first team as well where we may have to have a rethink about some of the players' positions YP25F - Jesus Torres Again an area were we havent been blessed. With the wingers struggling to develop or having higher end PA I think Torres could potentially play a part this season. YP25G - Peter Galabov Galabov will be our 3rd choice keeper. Dont expect him to get much game time though! YP25H - Domingo Munoz I like the look of him but his poor personality means I am sceptical of him ever hitting the required heights. YP25I - Carlos Aparicio Another I like the look off and I do enjoy a left footed centre back in terms of balance! Will continue in the u19's for now. YP25J - Halvard Edh A good personality so signed to see how he develops! YP25K - Gabriel Olawale I do like the look of Olawale. But unfortunately his personality could get in the way of becoming a first team player. Will see how he develops. YP25L - Juan Carlos Candela Another prospect who I would see fitting into the deep lying player maker role rather than further forward. YP25M - Diosdado Nguema A good potential winger here. He will play in the u19's for now. YP25N - Jorge Montegud Another solid winger who probably is most first time ready to start challenging for some game time in this spot! We have started to score a lot of goals and whilst we still concede a fair few we are starting to up our clean sheet ratio! League Table Our best ever finish as we come 6th. I hope next season we can maybe push on up towards the playoffs although it will still be tough! Spanish Cup A tough draw for the first round as we were dispatched by Oviedo. Goalkeeper Watch Kerr (YP23B) ended up with 6 goals and 1 assist from 32 games whilst Diatta (YP24D) got 1 goal from 3 games. Player Review - Pau (YP24B) Pau (YP24B) has developed very well over the past season jumping an impressive 14 CA points. He will continue to be rotated in both the right back and left back positions to aid his development. Player Of The Season - Bernabe Sanchez (YP22D) Being moved from full back to centre back has definitely helped us a lot. Sanchez (YP22D) has not only added an impressive 5 goals and 4 assists from this position but has also upped our clean sheets to 8 in the league this season which is nearly in mid table where we have been bottom the past few seasons. Young Player Of The Season - Ben Merchant (YP24A) Whilst Sayabera was the main man for goals again and probably deserved it more I have given this to Merchant (YP24A) as it was his first full season. An impressive goal every 2 games and providing 7 assists means a very successful debut season. Youth Review Goalkeepers Kerr (YP23B) - Continues to be our main keeper and has shown solid development this season. Clean sheets have been upped as well so its all positive! Diatta (YP24D) - Got a few games in the 2nd half of the season and got a goal but with his personality hasn't improved at all in terms of CA. Centre Backs Andres (YP22J) - Has shown solid development despite limited game time. I think one of him or Garrido (YP21B) might be moved on next season. Imasuen (YP23C) - Continues to be frustrating in terms of development and I wonder if he will ever get close to his potential. Will be moved out of the team to accommodate Alvarez (YP25A) next season so game time will be more limited. Garrido (YP21B) - The oldest centre back in our first team and I will probably try and move him on this summer. Sanchez (YP22D) - Our main man at the back. Really suits this position especially as a ball playing defender. Alvarez (YP25A) - Started the final 3 league games and has looked impressive this far. I think he will be Sanchez (YP22D) partner next season. Full Backs Carlos (YP23A) - Another solid season and development. Grabbed a couple of additional assists in the 2nd half of the season which is hopefully proof of him becoming more effective up the pitch. Andres (YP21G) - I think his game time will become more limited next season. The other 3 full backs are improving much quicker and with some centre backs who can cover these positions perhaps a loan move could be in the making. Allende (YP23E) - Brilliant development again this season which seen him get called up for the u20 World Cup with Peru this summer! Pau (YP24B) - Our young prospect here has made great strides as well which has seen him oust Andres (YP21G) as our rotational full back on either side. Def. Mid Miguel (YP21C) - Will be his last season in the first team as his development has really slowed down and with the emergence of Moreira (YP25D) and Cox (YP25B) from the latest intake his game time will be hampered a lot. Chafer (YP23G) - Solid development here despite his poor personality. Again though will be hampered by the 2 younger players with better personalities getting more game time. Moreira (YP25D) - Himself and Cox (YP25B) will be the 2 main players for this position next season. 3 assists in 1 (2) appearances is a great sign. Cox (YP25B) - If you followed me in my other save I loved me an American signing. With me limited to having no signings its great to have one come through the youth system! Att. Mid Samb (YP22B) - Again great development here in his more suited role. He is the main man behind the strikers and hit double figures in goals and assists. Bilbao (YP24F) - Has developed very well also and will split time with Carbonell (YP25E) in being a rotational AMC and potentially winger as well. Carbonell (YP25E) - Already opened his account for the club in turn becoming the youngest ever goalscorer. Will get game time next season! Wingers Torrella (YP23I) - Continued his really good development this season. Some niggly injuries meant he didn't get as much game time in the 2nd half of the season but its fast becoming a potential starter! Bravo (YP23M) - Again developed well as he moves towards his top end PA. Impressive 2nd half of the season as he popped up with some important goals and assists. Ibarra (YP24E) - Has shown solid development despite the poor personality. Lets hope it continues! Martinez (YP24C) - Similar to Ibarra (YP24E) in that he has shown good development despite the personality. I hope it is a sign of things to come! Torres (YP25F) - Called up to be an emergency backup. He played the last game of the season to get some experience! Strikers Sayabera (YP22A) - Our main goalscorer again this season although with the emergence of Kovacec (YP25C) I am tempted to utilise him on the right wing next season. Merchant (YP24A) - A great breakthrough year for the young Gibraltarian. 15 goals and 7 assists is a great return. Kovacec (YP25C) - What a start from the young Croat. 3 goals and 2 assists in his 3 games after the intake is hopefully a sign of things to come! Centre Backs 2 centre backs with high potential (for this level) in Martin (YP23F) and Imasuen (YP23C) but 2 very poor personalities and they seem to be struggling with their development. I am continuing to rotate all 4 in and out to see how we progress this area. Full Backs If centre backs were out struggling area then full backs are definitely not. All players progressing nicely apart from Granell (YP22E) but he has had limited game time. Sanchez (YP22D) is the best player in our team and continues to develop well but has been outdone by Allende (YP23E) this season who has jumped an amazing 11 CA points thus far! Def. Mid Another area were I am really not sure who to play. All have had solid game time but havent increased in 1 CA point to stat anywhere! Att. Mid An area we need improving. Mikey will continue to be brought out of the team as his CA goes down but De Haro (YP23D) isnt improving at all with his bad personality. An area we have had to played wingers in to try and get more out of them. Wingers With Milanesi plummeting in terms of CA it is nice to see 2 of our newest intake have tried to step up to fill the void. Torrella (YP23I) and Bravo (YP23M) have jumped up nicely in their CA and will continue to get game time. Peris (YP22C) and Rubio (YP23H) again have not improved in CA at all which at their age is a worry. Strikers We are down to 2 strikers in the first team and some wingers who can be a backup. The good news is they have both stayed fit and are both developing very nicely. Sayabera (YP22A) is our main goal threat in most games and a ratio of a goal a game is outstanding. Same (YP22B) has plucked in with 5 goals as well and has already hit double figures in terms of CA development points this season! Player Review - Randy Cox (YP25B) Cox (YP25B) is developing very nicely and is our main starter in the defensive midfield playmaking role now and has provided 3 assists whilst developing 12 CA points so far this season! Youth Intake Preview Another top class centre back would be nice. Full backs we dont really need! Youth Review Goalkeepers Centre Backs Full backs Def. Mid Att. This time I signed less players especially those with bad personalities. The Players YP26A - Juan Pablo A 6 foot 6 centre back. Yes please. Will be a part of the first team right away! YP26B - Jorge Marrero Looks a fantastic player for that deep lying role. Very impressive mentals already! YP26C - Pepe Another very good full back to join the club. Will call him up now to be our 4th quality full back! YP26D - Mateo Rufaza Another very solid player for the DMC position! Has all the right stats to play there! YP26E - Moshiko Argamani A solid striker who will become our 3rd choice now that Merchant has left the club. YP26F - Domingo Rebollo Will become a 3rd choice goalkeeper but wont expect many minutes! YP26G - Khalidou Cissokho Probably most suited to the AMC role but will play in the u19s for now. We are without starting goalkeeper Kerr for all the playoffs but deputy Diatta had a solid game. A very tight match but our 2 strikers in Kovacec and Argamani got 2 vital goals so that we go into the home tie with a slight advantage. 2nd Leg Another cagey affair which would have went to extra time if they hadn't have missed their first of two penalties. In the end it was the young American Cox who scored the goal that will take us through to the playoff finals. We will be missing main defender Sanchez for the first leg unfortunately! Final 1st Leg Well what a way to cement yourself in the first team. We lost 4-3 but youngster Argamani scored a hat trick that keeps us in the tie! 2nd Leg A dominant performance which the scoreline didn't really reflect but we managed to go up on away goals thanks to a goal from Kovacec 15mins before the end of time means we are going up! 1 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

League Table We go up in the end after a fantastic season which I thought might have been derailed after Merchant left. Spanish Cup We have still yet to make it past the first round of the Spanish Cup! Goalkeeper Watch Kerr scored 11 goals and 1 assist this season which is a great return. Diatta didn't get off the mark this season in 5 games! Player Review - Blas Alvarez (YP25A) Great development this season from our big prospect from last season. Up an impressive 14 CA points this season! 3 goals and an assist this season! Player Of The Season - Juanfran Sayabera (YP22A) Was moved to the wing for most of this season as Merchant and Kovacec played up top. Was briefly brought back to striker when Merchant was sold but when Argamani came in in the latest intake I moved him back. 13 goals and 26 assists show you what an incredible season he has had! Young Player Of The Season - Dinko Kovacec (YP25C) With added pressure on his shoulders after Merchant was sold he really stepped. up. 30 goals and 10 assists this season and 6 goals clear at the top of the top goalscorer in the league it shows you how well he has done!
