dpt8544
This is a very specific problem. Basically, in a cup match, I made my 3 permitted substitutes in regular time. Then in the 80th minute approximately, one of my players was seriously injured, reducing me to 10 men, as I had no substitutes remaining. However, then I made it to full time, and we were tied so we went to extra time. In this particular cup competition, you are permitted to make an extra sub in extra time. Therefore, I should be able to immediately substitute the player who had already been off for 10 minutes, and bring my team back up to 11 men for extra time. However, I have no ability to do so. I am able to substitute any other player in my team. This screenshot shows the situation. I can't sub off Aribi, even though he was only 'forced off', not substituted. FrazT
This was raised before and the rule was clarified that the extra time substitute can only replace a player who was on the field at that time. It is a strange rule but is working correctly, I'm afraid.
