sweepers

I just would like to know what instructions the sweeper role had since I didn't play any older versions of FM. Just for me to research

Thanks but I have worked it out now essentially the centre back needs to be the one who stops potential goals or through balls without jeopardising the defense.

So what stood out to me was positioning being at the right place at the right time, and high intelligence.

These attributes are great for a makeshift sweeper and work well with or without speed.

I used a CB cover and a high pressing with the other two cb with zonal marking and low pressing. The good thing about this is it stops direct balls and cuts out through balls much more faster than a sweeper would increasing the no. of counter attacks.

That being said I prefer a GK more than a SK

Sweepers and Liberos be probably the worst implemented playertypes (Libero is even worse than Sweeper) and you do very well not to use them and having instead developed a different solution - kudos!
