NateHeywood
Suppose that you are in the Championship, and scouting a player, you can afford them but they don't want to join till you are a premier league club. Between that point and the end of the season they could go anywhere else. To counteract this a manager could agree to sign a player IF a specifc promise is met i.e. gain promotion, stay up etc. This could allow for discussions with the players also, hence a conditional transfer. Moreoever this could apply if a team is punching above their weight and they want to sign a player but the player thinks the squad is too weak for them, you could offer to improve the squad as oppose to not being able to negotiate.
SI Staff Abdullah Patel Posted August 11, 2021 SI Staff Share Posted August 11, 2021 Thanks for taking the time to raise this here. This is something which has already been flagged as a request within the community, so has already been documented and is part of our internal database of features for consideration. Like all features raised to us, it could end up rejected, or could after extensive design and development become a part of a future FM
