Expand Player Discipline

Discipline expanded. When a player has received too many yellow/red cards or misses training, you're currently only allowed to fine a player a week or two weeks wages. I'd like to be able to discipline the player even more. Suspending him from the training ground for a few days, forcing him to play a number of Reserve/Under 20's games before he's even consider for selection for the first team, telling him that he will be benched for the next 3 games, making him apologise to the squad in a team meeting, calling a player out in front of the media, etc. Also allowing us to give a player in your squad with good leadership/decisions attributes the responsibility to be in control of players fines, a lot of clubs these days have a player in the squad that will fine the players for turning up late or missing training etc.

This is good stuff. I think also a lot of it could be helped by adding some variability to the types of questions you get asked in press conferences. The press conference questions need to be about 5-10x broader and that would really add some dimension to the instances you're describing to when a player is disruptive or otherwise out of line.

Thanks for taking the time to raise this here. This is something which has now been documented and is part of our internal database of features for consideration. Like all features raised to us, it could end up rejected, or could after extensive design and development become a part of a future FM.
