mark wilson27
Before we give the next award, it's important to pause to celebrate this occasion. While there have been many award winners for annual achievements, there are very few who have achieved entrance into the FMS Hall of Fame for Writers. In fact, it's been a decade since that achievement has been accomplished. Ten years! In footballing terms, it's the last year that Manchester United won the Premier League. It's kind of ironic when you consider this writer usually does an annual story of Man Utd in every new version of the game. In terms of Rock n' Roll music, this writer keeps churning out quality products like AC/DC. This writer gives you exactly what you want when reading serials: a rhythm and pacing that's familiar and easy to understand and a consistency in producing new story after new story. In terms of Football Manager, this writer is the equivalent of a Gareth Barry or a Mark Noble because he's ever present in the lineups and giving you his best effort to make this forum a better place to be for the rest of the team writing along with him. It's my privilege to see one of the most faithful contributors to this forum since he started writing more than 15 years ago achieve the highest award offered. Congratulations and best wishes to mark wilson27! for your entrance into the FM Stories Hall of Fame! Words written by @copperhorse21

neilhoskins77
Sorry I missed the Annual Awards night, I've been out to the ice hockey this evening. Congratulations to all the winners, in particular Mark for his Hall of Fame induction, and Jon for a fabulous first year. And also thanks to all those who voted for 'The Gambler' in the English Story of the Year category, with a new post for that story in the works as we speak. Mandy42
Did not expect to scoop an award this year as I've been not as productive as previous years. Which probably shows in the fact I missed the darn ceremony! Thought i had an outside shot at funniest writer. But never did I imagine that Confessions would net me another award after it took story of the year last year. Other than that it was a night of celebrating others success. Though must admit theres a nice feeling to seeing many of the people I voted for pick up awards. Awesome wins for Jon. Glad you took the newcomer award. Well deserved. Plus story of the year! Once those dreaded links came out of it it turned out alright! Am made up for you Mark. Not only did you win a considerable number of awards. But you've broken the lock on the hall of fame and taken your rightful place as a living legend of this part of the forum. Long may it continue. Congratulations to all the other winners. Hope the accolades can help wake this place up a bit and we can have even more to celebrate this time next year. Only thing I'm slightly miffed at is you touting Jon for an entry and have over looked me Edited October 4, 2021 by Mandy42
