MasterKano
It's a fairly simple concept - Foreign youth academies. Ability to poach youth talent on a continental level for instance if you're based in Europe you're able setup academies in sub-regions of South America, Asia, Africa, North America. It'd cost money to setup as well as maintenance costs alongside wages to paid staff such as coaches and scouts purely based at the academies.
Administrators Kyle Brown Posted October 21, 2021 Administrators Share Posted October 21, 2021 Do you have any real world examples of this - can you think of any clubs that have this set up already?

mattjasina
Setting up affiliate foreign academies is definitely a good idea. So basically an academy set up in a foreign county on a clubs licence. Barcelona has a few of them set up: https://barcaacademy.fcbarcelona.com/en/. USA, Poland, Dubai, Hungary, Turkey etc. The FCB Escola Varsovia Warsaw academy for example trained Marcin Bulka, who could have signed for Barca, but signed for Chelsea instead then PSG and is currently on loan at Nice. Juventus does the same thing: https://jacademy.pl. Here's the full list: https://www.juventus.com/en/academy/locator. There is one in London too.
