boey Posted October 25, 2021 Share Posted October 25, 2021 (edited) So I'm aware a few top clubs in europe have coaches dedicated to set pieces, such as Liverpool, Brentford, FC Midtjylland etc. So maybe it would be a good idea for some clubs to have a few slots dedicated to specialised coaches? Ie if I hire a set piece coach, I can delegate set piece tactics to him. If I hire a throw-in coach, my players will all have their long throw attribute improve(to varying degrees) This could be extended to stuff like lifestyle coaches(I think brentford has a sleeping analyst or something?), which could help players improve recovery times and reduce injury rate Another example could be sports psychologists I'm sure there are more examples of highly specialised coaches but this is what I can think of off the top of my head, this would definitely make it possible to do a more realistic moneyball save, relying on statistics and science to gain an edge over teams with more financial power Edited October 25, 2021 by boey Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
